Yoongi walked to the nearest fast-food restaurant, incredibly annoyed. They had found another complication in his car, so he wouldn't have any form of transportation until tomorrow, meaning he would have to carpool again and couldn't go shopping for proper food since the nearest grocery shop was an hour away on foot, meaning he had no choice but to make the ten minute walk to McDonald's instead.
He sighed, entering the McDonald's, walking up to the counter, trying to hide his dissatisfied face, seeing the menu options not really appealing to him, but didn't want to walk another twenty minutes in the dark night to the subway down the road.
He knew his friends would have happily invited him over to eat if he simply called or texted, but he hated depending on others for his needs, knowing he should have gone food shopping during the weekend, but instead spent his time napping and watching movies.
The black haired male settled on the Big Mac combo, remembering Seokjin had ordered it once, so it had to be decent. He pulled out his credit card, paying for his meal, before standing to the side, patiently waiting for his food.
He closed his eyes for a second, letting his eyes rest, being incredibly tired, wanting nothing more than to crawl under his bedsheets and sleep until his job forced him to get up, but he knew he needed to eat, even if it wasn't the most healthy option.
"Mr.Min?" Yoongi heard a very familiar voice talk to him, as he opened his eyes to see none other than Hoseok. He smiled, glad to see the bright boy outside of school, but wondering why he was at McDonald's at 9 PM on a school night.
"Hello, Hoseok. What brings you here so late at night?" Yoongi asked curiously, noticing that the younger male was also alone, thinking he would be with that Taehyung guy or his other two friends.
Hoseok smiled, not his usual bright and radiating smile, but a seemingly sad looking smile, that made Yoongi worry. "Oh just getting dinner is all," he replied, making the male teacher frown at this, wondering why the younger male hadn't eaten dinner at home.
Hoseok didn't really like fast food that much, but he didn't know how to cook so this was the next best thing before eating actual garbage. He would have attempted to cook something edible but he was seemingly too tired to do so and feared he might accidentally set the kitchen on fire.
"Can I please get the number ten with a medium coke," Hoseok ordered, pulling out a twenty, paying his meal, telling the cashier to keep the couple bills of change, then silently standing by the male teacher, waiting for his own food as well.
Yoongi wanted to keep the conversation going, but didn't have the slightest idea what to say, because he couldn't just to the younger boy like he was his friend or something, he had to keep the professional relationship between teacher and student in place.
Eventually, Yoongi's food was ready and he grabbed it, heading to an empty seat near the back of the restaurant. He would have gone home to eat, but he was starving and didn't want to risk it getting cold on the way home. Taking a bite of his burger, he raised an eyebrow surprised, for a fast food burger it was pretty good.
He stared at nothing particularly, letting his head swim with various thoughts from the assignments he had yet to grade, bills, and of course Hoseok.
Yoongi had never particularly felt a strong interest in a student like this before. At first, he genuinely thought it was the fact at how positive the younger boy was about everything and his amazing dancing skills that always left him in awe, but ever since he heard Hoseok sing for the first time, Yoongi knew he felt more for the radiant boy than he wanted to admit.
Yoongi didn't realize how distracted he had gotten in only a minute, until he heard a chair being moved, and looked up to see Hoseok sit down and quietly eat his food, seemingly looking lost in thought.
