Jack can running into the hotel, bursting through the doors.
What did you do, you idiot! Kill her, you love her, love is weakness, don't go after her!
The sound of Jacks pulse beating like a base drum drowned out all the voices, all that was left what the steady thudding, like a knocking at the door. Jack was running like a maniac because she was one, but she was a maniac in love. She needed Natasha to know she was sorry. She needed to apologize.
"Tell me where she went! Just tell me goddamnit!" She shouted at the lady at the front desk. "She's my girlfriend, I love her, I need her. Please tell me."
"Please calm down. She went upstairs, third floor. Get in the elevator and be quick." Responded the woman.
Jack ran to the elevator, catching the door. The only other people in there were an elderly couple. The doors squealed closed but suddenly jolted open as think black glove came through the crack.
"Thought I was going to miss it." Chuckled the new passenger. "It's a lovely morning today."
There was something unsettling about the man, his sweeping coat and thick unidentifiable accent. His teeth shinning like ivory against his dark skin. But most unsettling was the way he stood there, like a cat who had trapped the mouse and was now taking its sweet time. The elderly couple got out at the second floor, leaving Jack with the man.
"Here's what's going to happen, the doors are going to open, my men will be there with guns. If you struggle they will kill you. Okay. If you don't you'll live, all we need is some blood. Do you understand?" Asked the man. "You have a unique disease that I think I can study and create an artificial version. Extreme schizophrenia paired with a neurological disease not yet discovered, I could engineer it to my own purposes. Naturally you are my desired subject because no one knows you exist."
