Y/n's POV

I'm tirreedd. I don't wanna do this anymore! I wanna be free from this!

No I can't think like this. I need to get back to work, rather, studying.

2nd Punic War. The war was caused by General Hannibal who wanted to control Italy to get revenge on Rome.

Hannibal...? It's really familiar. Isn't he a hmm... vice warden from One Piece in Impel Down? Oh yeah!

Wait... I'm getting distracted again!!

I read the next paragraph and it had really deep English words but I'm pretty sure they're understandable if it weren't for my brain being distracted.

All I could understand was the first word even if I repeated it like 5 times already.

My mind was saying that it read bla bla bla... That's the only thing I could understand.

I hate World History! Why are we studying this anyway? It's in the past and we're in Japan for God's sake.

God. I need a break I'm too stressed. I still have seven piled up homeworks and school works.
The wi-fi is broken and my homework in Science needed just that! What a great life I have!

I need to breathe even for just a minute.

I went outside and took a walk to the park. The sky was getting dimmer by the second. The sun descended for the day.

I knew I had to go back and do my homeworks but I can't calm down at my house.

My plan was to take a breather then go back but I knew myself. I wouldn't go back until it was dark out. Therefore I decided to bring my homework with me.

The park was empty. I sat by the swing and started to read my History book again.

I was starting to understand the sentences. It was making sense but then I saw a shadow loomed over the book.

It was dark out and I can hardly read so this guy definitely got my attention.

"Hey. Excuse me sir but I'm read-" I started off sassy but stopped when I saw a particular red-haired devil.

"Oh, it's just you, Karma. Well can't you see I'm reading? At least call my name or wait 'til I'm done reading. I was starting to decipher this hieroglyphic writing you know." I said and tried to read again.

He sat down the swing next to me.

"How come you can't understand it? It's definitely easy Y/n-chan~~" Well it's not my fault it was hard.

"Like you can talk. If I remember correctly your worst subject is History Karma."

"Ohh~ ne, Y/n-chan, how can you remember that? Do you perhaps have a crush on me?~"

"In your dreams, Karma." That'll mean he's dreaming right now.

"Really then, what's Itona-kun's worst subject?" I flinched.

"How would I know? Itona's new." I said carefully.

"How about Nagisa-kun's then?" Fuck.

"If you want the truth I'll tell you, Karma, you are my rival. Therefore, I must know all your strengths and weaknesses." What a lie.

"I'm honored to be Y/n-chan's rival~" Fuck you.

"Well, you need to be." I rolled my eyes at him and he just smirks.

Urggh! Really? How did I even fall for this jackass?
