A/n: Quite a long chapter ahead, probably... XD This is LizWilliams486 's 5/7 request! Two more to go!

Y/n's POV

White. Why is everything white? Am I dead?

I looked around trying to find signs that I was still alive. Luckily, I was.

I was on a bed facing the white ceilings. I hear faint voices of my family members. I couldn't make out what they were saying.

I tried to sit up but my body wouldn't let me do so. It felt like I was paralysed, I couldn't move anything except my eyes.

I was just having a nice day about a four days ago when we had training in the forest of E-class mountain. After the same day, I suddenly caught a cold when I was perfectly healthy in the morning.

We all thought it was just a normal cold so I went to class for the next day being the stubborn child I was. I hated missing lessons and having no clue on what to do when examination day came.

When It didn't subside, I was told to stay home and recover before going back. I did what I was told but it only got worse, headaches were occurring overtime I get out of bed, rashes soon appeared, and my joints were hurting a lot.

My memories were a bit hazy but I was sure that another day went by but my fever still didn't cease down and that's when my parents rushed me to the hospital which brings me to now.

I got a little bit of my strength and tried to sit a little bit so I could see my parents. I felt tubes attached to me, one was supplying me blood while the other was giving me water.

"Oh Sweetie, You're awake." My mom walked towards me. I saw her right arm with cotton and tape. "Mhm. So what's my case?"

"What case?" My mom smiled sweetly but I could tell that she was only trying her best not to break down so I rolled my eyes.

"It's dengue fever." My dad was the one who answered. I knew about dengue fever because Koro-sensei mentioned it in class. He said that it was common in the lower part of the equator but you can never be always safe especially with the changes happening in the world.

I guess I'm just that unlucky...

"You're friends will visit you later after school." My mother sat down on the couch peeling off the cotton on her arm. She probably gave me some of her blood because it was the crucial thing that was needed when you have this kind of sickness.

I quietly nod as I drift off to wondrous sleep. Darkness encaged me but I still slept peacefully knowing that at least in darkness I wouldn't see anything that would chase fear out of me.

My peaceful sleep was interrupted by whispering voices that belonged to my dearest classmates. I pondered if I were to converse with them or to pretend sleeping for a bit more. I moved my body lying on my right side and turning my back unto them.

"Y/n, don't pretend to be asleep. We came here for you, you know." I heard a familiar voice say making me tense up. Silence came and I felt eyes staring intently on my back. "How did you know that's she's awake, Karma-kun?"

"Y/n doesn't move when she sleeps, she wakes up even for a while then move into another position." I suddenly felt creeped out, remembering the times I didn't feel alone under the covers of my loving bed in the house.

"And how do you know that, Karma?" My best friend was soon heard. Only she can confirm that what Karma said was true because of all the sleepovers we have. "That's a secret for me to know and you to find out." I could almost hear the smirk in his voice.
