-beauty that is more than skin-deep.

That's the desired type, a woman who is beautiful. Not only equipped with such beauty but beauty that is more than skin-deep.

Mistaken. Everyone has mistaken such a beauty. 'You can't be perfect forever. But you can try your best.' thought she; shaking off the thoughts of prickly perfection.

She can't stay nice forever and she also can't stay mad forever. Life is always at the center.

Mistake Number Nine: "Questionable Actions."

"This girl just got in my way and told me to back off Alec or something." I complain, but not really annoyed since she wasn't really a threat.

Gold quickly held my face to look in her direction, "Is she like a person that seemed significant to Alec? Like a girlfriend?" I laugh.

"More like an ex." I say, slamming my book and walking into the kitchen to get a cup of water.

As I enter my room Gold was fidgeting with her hands, "Funneh, erm, why were you asking that question with me yesterday?" I shrug.

"I dunno, I just had a hunch." We stay in silence for a while and Gold pulls out a pack of noodles and shakes it in my face. "Anyways, want to eat?"

I smile at Gold and we both head to the kitchen.

Oh, right. I didn't tell you earlier that Gold and I woke up very early. When I early I mean really early. So after we cooked our noodles we packed it in our containers and bolted to school.

There was no time to relax and we just wasted our time. Luckily, my parents were away so they didn't have to see how messy and irresponsible we are.

While Gold and I were swiftly running for our lives, I say. "I know I have a driver but why not take the risk. He needed rest anyways. But yeah, I'm asking you a question."

Gold nods and sighs in relief as we see the school in sight. "W-What was the quest-tion?"

I ask ahead, "About that, why can't you visit me when my parents are home. I'd love you to meet them." After a year of meeting Gold, she still hasn't met my parents.

Well I don't really mind but I think that she would love to meet them. I want my parents to meet a person that always makes me happy and puts a smile on my face.

We head inside the school with many students pacing around to get to their lockers and Gold whispers in my ear. "I hear Alec's ex is named Erica Elizabeth Baker."

That name seemed to ring a bell in my mind. But I don't know who that girl could be. Who is she? Is she treating Alec like a rebound? I heard she had multiple boyfriends before Alec.

Who knows? She might've hooked up with her ex's while dating Alec. I might've not be fond with Alec but pain isn't to be taken that lightly.

It was lunch time, I went to the cafeteria and looked for Gold. I sighed as I know that I'll have another question that she might avoid or lie about.

I finally spot Gold and sat at the table. "I'll just make this clear. I know you don't lie. I know you would never lie to me, I know that you would be truthful."

I see that Gold is nervous but she doesn't show any face of nervousness. Her hands are a dead giveaway.

"But, I'm having second thoughts. Did you really say the—" I got cut off by Gold. She pulled a bluenette and smiled at him.

She introduces this male to me. "This is Kyran," She looks at Kyran's direction and says,"This is—" He speaks before Gold. "The infamous Funneh Kennedy, our school's biggest supplier. Why wouldn't I know her." He showed a plain smile.

I just got cut off by Gold. Why didn't I know that she would do this. Sneaky little—!

"Oh, are you perhaps Gold's girlfriend?" I ask innocently, pretending to not know. A slight tint of pink was visible on their faces. "Um, no way!"

I grin, "Not yet." I walked away from their table surpressing a grin as I knew I embarrased Gold.
