[ XXXII ] - "The Past's Karma."

"I love you so much." He whispers in my ear and sends chills down my spine. I was shocked, but I cupped his cheeks and sent a kiss.

"No, Alec Williams. I love you."

When certain things are revealed. They seem to hurt. She hurts. She was ripped apart. She didn't know. The sense of questioning brought her to another feeling: loneliness.

She thought she was left alone. And it hurted me to see her like that. She was my everything, and my everything deserved happiness.

Mistake Number Thirty - Two: "The Past's Karma."

I sighed in worry. She was drowing in her own tears, which hurted me too. Ayano did damage. That she didn't even remember. Ayano was powerful in this situation. Which also caused me to work for her.

Funneh was still sobbing so I dragged her to the back of the school. It was like our secret spot. I sat her down and kissed her forehead.

"Listen to me all the way, then speak." Funneh nodded and I sat beside her. I patted her back, wanting her sadness to end. "You, have temporary memory loss, also known as 'retrograde amnesia." I hear her gasp, but she doesn't speak.

Her tears stopped, "S-Sorry, I can't help myself. But, can you tell me what happened which caused me to experience t-this. . ?" I nodded and that I told her everything.

Funneh crossed her arms and scoffs, "Ayano is so pathetic. She tries to pull this hypnotizing shit just to make me forget about her killing someone. I can't just pretend that I forgot about it!" I shake my head and tuck Funneh's hair behind her ear.

"And? What are you implying?" Funneh smirks and responds, "Revenge. Something really memorable to her, embarassing." I shrug and she groans. "C'mon Alec! She killed someone! Killed! K-I-L-L-E-D!"

"I guess, but what if it reverses back to you?" Funneh shakes her head, "Huh, when will karma ever hit back to me when that cruel bitch deserves it." I chuckle, she definitely has a foul mouth.

"Then it's whatever, let's do it." She flashes a genuine smile and kisses me on the lips.

Funneh pokes me in the nose while we were watching a movie. "Ayano just texted me." I raised an eyebrow, "And? What's the plan?" She ignored me and I playfully hit her on the shoulder, she finally responds. "Uhm, I'll tell you later."

"Ok."

It has been a few hours, I hear a 'ding' from my phone but ignore it. It was midnight, and Funneh wasn't here yet. I started to get worried, a phone call from an unknown number flashes on my phone screen and I pick it up. "Hello?"

"Hello? Is this Alec Williams?" The person in the other line ask. "Yes, why are you calling me?" I then ask.

"Ms. Kennedy experienced a severe accident, we discovered that she fell down th stairs. She is still unconcious as her parents are also here." My heart started pounding from my chest, my mind was racing. And I couldn't think.

"WHERE's THE HOSPITAL!" I scream at the phone and the person said the adress. I was shaking. What would happen to her?

"The recording of what happened was gone. Only the other recording of which another CCTV caught. The suspect wasn't caught." Funneh's parents were behind me.

Funneh's mother placed her hand o my shoulder and speaks, "It's okay. We will not do anything with catching the suspect anymore. We are tired, and we also got news that Funneh will be recovering soon. Let all of this go and let her rest."

I was scared of what would happen to us next. Funneh's parents left me. They told me to get away from Funneh whenever she wakes up. I check my phone for messages. And Funneh's last text flashed upon my eyes. This was the certain 'ding' that I ignored.

"Basically, Ayano and I were head to head?" Funneh asks, making me nod. "I suspect that she pushed you down the stairs. So that's why I didn't trust that she changed."

Funneh turned around to face me, "Why did you let me go?" I shake my head, "I never let you go. I was just pretending, Gold and I were just pretending."

She chuckled sadly, "I'm sorry that I hurted you." I shaked my head in disagreement, "You were oblivious, but I still loved you."

She hit my shoulder and kissed me. "You know that I've never said that I actually love you too."

We seperated the kiss and I replied with, "You are much better than the past Funneh who had a potty mouth." We both laugh.

But the truth was, they were both actually the same. It was just one person who was altered. And I still loved her.

I love you to Funneh Alice Kennedy.
