I sat down at the table with the lodge family .
"Hunter I am glad you are apart of this family and since you have been staying with us for a while now and I know you well and I love you as my own kid I will like to officially adopt you into the family " Hiram said while taking a bite from his steak .
I look up at him .
"I am very happy that your family took me in and I am happy to hear you want to adopt me but what do my mom and dad say ." I said .
Veronica looked happy and smiled .
"Your parents want what is best for you they signed the papers but they still get to have all types of contact with you . Just know that if you will let us adopt you .you will be hunter Jones lodge " Hermione said .
I look down at my plate .
"You don't have to decide now if you want but we do need to know by tomorrow night so we can sign the papers " Hiram said while putting a reassuring hand on my hand .
"Just know that even if you do say no we are happy to have you here and still think of you as family " Veronica said .
After dinner I called sweet pea to meet me at pops and my friends .
I sat down at the table while everyone looked at me .
"I need to tell you guys something " I said .i then looked up at them .
"It ok babe tell us " sweet pea said while hugging me .
"Hiram and Hermione want to adopt me and I have to give them my answer by tomorrow night " I said .
Everyone looked shocked .
"What the hell .they can't adopt you with out dad and mom permission and they have to give up all parental rights dad and mom won't ever do that " jughead said while standing up .
"Hey juggy calm down ok"Betty said while putting a reassuring hand on him.
"They both told me that dad and mom already signed the papers all I need to do is sign them and i will be hunter lodge or I can keep Jones but add lodge at the end " I said while fiddling with my hands .
"You can't possibly think that this is all right our parents giving you to the lodges no offense Veronica but I want you to be safe " jughead said .
"I am safe they are the best they are great people and they keep me safe so What is wrong with that "I said .
Everyone looked at me and jughead .
"No it is not alright they still are not our parents ." Jughead said he was going to continue but I cut him off .
"No our parents gave up their rights because they want what's best for me and you but you can't see that " I said .
"Babe calm down " sweet pea said .
