Chapter .72

I woke up with a gasp .
I look to my side to see sweet pea sleeping I look down at my appearance to see that I am in a hospital bed hooked to a ton of wires .

"Sweet pea ...baby wake up " I said as I nudge him .
Sweet pea woke up right away .
He caresses my face .
" hunter  your ...your awake I ....I thought that I would never see you again "sweet pea said as he hold my hand .

" don't ever think about it I would never leave you I promise you" I said .

That day I was updated on what had happened since me and jughead had been out .
Fangs is alive and healthy .the serpents lost the big brawl as I like to say .

Now I am back home with my dad and brother .
I walk out of my room to see my dad  and jughead arguing .

"What is going on here jug ,dad " I said as I place my back pack on the floor .
My dad wakes up to me and pulled me in for a hug before letting go .

"Honey we are leaving town and where going to toledo" my dad said .i shook my head .

"No dad what ...what about sweet pea and the rest of the serpents " I said as I look at my dad then at jughead .

My dad shook his head .
"Pack lightly where only taking the bikes "my dad said .he then walks out the door .

I walked into Riverdale High with  jughead . We enter the student lounge.i look around to see everyone but no Betty knowing that she is try to help her mom cope with her dad begin one of the black hoods .i walk away from everyone .as I am about to leave the school sweet pea stops me .

"Baby jughead told me what happened look I know you don't want to go to Toledo okay but look we will get threw this together " sweet pea said as he rest his forehead against mine .
I nodded my head .
"This is why I love you sweet pea .forever and always " I said as I kiss him .

That night we lead the serpents to the north side to prevent them from getting a rested taking refuge in Fred Andrews home .

All the serpents sand by the lake where our camp is now set up at .
I hold sweet pea hand as he pulls me close .my dad stands up and stands on the makeshift podium .

"I would like to say something .
I am retiring from the serpents .i am stepping down as serpent king ."my dad said while everyone looks at him in a confused way.

"Jughead ,hunter come here "my dad said .i leave sweet pea side to go and stand by my dad and brother .
My dad puts his hand  on each of us .
"Jughead will be the new serpent king and hunter my daughter will be his right hand woman "my dad says .everyone cheers .Cheryl is then joins the serpents .

Archie ended up winning student president  so now we are here in the auditorium.
We all stand up while Josie sings the national anthem .in the middle of this the new cop Hiram has hired comes in with two other cops .i could see Hiram lingering in the shadows .

"What is going on here "Archie asked as they start to arrest him .

"Archie Andrews you are under arrest for the murder Cassidy "the sheriff said .i muted out the rest of the conversation while they take Archie away all I can think is that this ..this is just the beginning .
