Chapter Seventeen

Isabelle's POV
I woke up in the hospital.i have know idea how I got here or why I'm here.
Emilio: Oh thank god! Your finally awake!
Isabelle: What happened?
Emilio: Well, last night you screamed for me, Jake, Logan, and Brendon. We came and Ines was punching the living crap out of you. I took you out of the room and was bringing you to my room to help you get cleaned off. I set you down my bed then ran to the bathroom to get a wet rag to clean the blood of your face. When I came back I asked you if you where ok. You didn't answer. I asked you again, still no answer. I ran back to your room and Jake and Logan where there freaking out. I told them that you were unconscious. They called 911. We decided that Logan and I where gonna ride in the ambulance with you.
Isabelle: What happened to Ines.
Emilio: Brendon broke up with her. He said that no girlfriend of his would do that to one of their friends.
I turned over and saw that it was 10:30 am.
Isabelle: Wait. What about our Disney trip?
Emilio: I changed the dates. We are now going the week after Valentines Day. Don't worry, we'll still go.
Isabelle: Thank you.
We kept talking until the nurse came in.
Regan: Hello. I'm Regan. I'll be your nurse.
Isabelle: Hi.
Regan: Okay. We have your test results. You have a fractured rib and some nasty bruises. You managed to lose a lot of blood though. We are gonna keep you here for the next 3 days.
Isabelle: Thanks Regan.
Emilio: Yes. Thank you.
Regan: See you I a while . I would suggest getting some food.
She left. I sat up and turned the TV on. Luckily Harry Potter was on TV. I was watching I when I looked over at Emilio, he was on his phone.
Isabelle: What are you doing babe?
Emilio: I'm asking Logan to come bring food. Do you want some?
Isabelle: Yeah. I'm starving.
Emilio: What do you want?
Isabelle: Panera.
Emilio: Ok.
We sat in silence for a few minutes. Than I decided to break it.
Isabelle: Thank you.
Emilio: What?
Isabelle: Thank you. For what you did last night. Ines was crazy. She was mad at me for dating you.
Emilio: But, she was dating Brendon.
Isabelle: Exactly. I think it was because she told me about you guys and she thought that it was some kind of I called him. We're is Ines now?
Emilio: Back in Ohio probably. She most likely won't be coming back to LA.
Isabelle: Good.
Logan came in with Jake and Ivan. Jake was crying.
Jake: Isabelle!! Im so happy you're ok.
He came over and hugged me.
Logan: We where really worried. If you couldn't tell Jake was crying.
Ivan: Here's your food.
Isabelle: Thanks guys.
We all ate our food. They asked me what had happened and I told them. Ivan didn't know what had happened. He looked so mad.
Ivan: I thought that she was your friend.
Isabelle: Me too. But I guess people change.
Logan: This isn't the first time she has been an asshole to you though.
Emilio: What?!?
Isabelle: Yeah. She said something behind my back. It wasn't that bad and I let it blow over.
Ivan: What did she say?
Jake knew what o was about to say.
Isabelle: Well a few weeks before I left Ohio, she said that the only reason I was famous was because of my brothers. It really hurt me. But, she said that she was joking. I really thought that she had changed. I guess I was wrong.
I began to cry.
Isabelle: Ines and I had been friends since we where born. We where inseparable. We did everything together. I guess she just couldn't handle the fact that I was going to meet her idols and live with them.
Emilio got up and gave me a hug.
Emilio: It's fine. She's gone now. It's fine.
He is amazing. We hung out for the rest of day. We looked at the time and it was getting late. Jake and Ivan had gone out of the room and Logan
Logan: Do you want me to stay with you tonight or what?
Isabelle: Can Emilio stay with me?
Logan: I guess. Just remember that you have a fractured rib.
Isabelle: What do you think we do when no one is around?
Logan: I don't know and I don't wanna see.
Isabelle and Emilio: Ew! No no.
Logan: Bye guys. See y'all tomorrow.
He left Emilio closed the door and came and sat down next to me on the hospital bed.
Emilio: I'm sorry that this is how you started your year.
Isabelle: It's fine. I just wish Ines wasn't so bad. I really enjoyed being her friend.
Emilio: You don't deserve and friend who treats you like that.
Isabelle: Thanks Emi.
Emilio: I couldn't honk of what to get you for Christmas so I asked Ivan. He said to ask Tessa.
Isabelle: Crap! I forgot about Tessa. Does she know that I'm ok.
Emilio: She was the second person I texted.
Isabelle: I'm sorry about Disney.
Emilio: It's fine. I told you, I changed the dates.
Isabelle: But I still feel really bad.
Emilio: Babe. It's fine. I would rather see you be ok then take a trip to Disney.
Isabelle: Aw babe. That's so sweet.
Emilio: Alright. It's getting late. And you need to rest.
He got up and turned the lights off.
Emilio: Hey Isabelle?
Isabelle: Yeah?
Emilio: Could you turn on you flashlight?
Isabelle: Yes.
He made his way over to the couch. It had the blanket he used last night on it.
Emilio: Good night Isabelle.
Isabelle: Good night Emilio.
