Ethan's Pov

When I was about to leave my father's house my sisters come into the room. Lily and Lila are now nine years old. They both are so big and i don't want to leave them behind.

"Hey Lila he is awake!" Lily almost yells and runs towards me giving me a hug. 

"Lily don't be dumb let him rest dad beat him up." Lila comes towards us and gives me a hug and a kiss on the cheek. I get on my knees and place each twin in front of me. 

"Now guys listen I have to leave ok... you have to be good and take care of Danny ok make sure that he is loved that he knows he has someone in this world. Listen ok I love you guys from the bottom of my heart heck I raised you guys and Danny. It hurts me to leave but if I am going to get Carmen back I need to leave." The tears from my eyes flow like water falls and my heart sinks to the bottom of the sea. The twins wrap each other in a tight hug both protecting each other. I take both of them and pick them up into a tight hug.

"Listen this is not good by it is see you later and I will call you guys and stay in touch." I am promising with all my heart to them and hoping that I will live to see them again. 

The twins left my room and I was on my way. before I left I took money from my hiding place I saved up three thousand dollars. I snuck out of my room and climbed down the tree. I had no where to go but that was not the first time. I reached a park and slept in a jungle gym. The next morning I got a text from Jasmine. 

Hey just wanted to give you the address to our church and from there we will head to the food bank.

It's  395 Old Parr st. 

Hey Jasmine I did not forget and I will be there at  nine thanks for the reminder. 

Oh! shot I forgot all about Jasmine's food bank. Ugh.. I need a shower there is only one place I can go. The school has a shower and locker room.

After I was done I headed to the church and Marc was right in front of me  about to be the first one in the church. I had to be the first she saw so I ran past him and into the church. I stumbled in and fell at the door. Jasmine ran over to me and started laughing. The funny thing is that she fell walking over to me and fell into my lap. We were both laughing and she gazed into my eyes. I gazed into hers and she moved her strand of hair to the back of her ear. I moved in closer and was going to make my move when he ruined it. Marc was standing over us and he cleared his throat.

"What happened here? " His voice echoed in my ear and I felt a wave of anger over my body.

"Oh.. um.. nothing." Jasmine jumped up and dusted her shorts off. 

"Ethan had fell and so did I and that is about it." She said in a childish smile. 

" Ya man nothing happened." I smirked at him. 

Jasmine's Pov 

I saw Ethan walk in and Fall my sudden reaction was to laugh but I gathered my thoughts and walked over to him. Next thing I know is we are gazing into each others eyes and about to kiss. Marc ruined it all now I am stuck in the same situation as before silence. I look at Ethan and then at Marc i just had to break the silence.

"Let's start with the boxes." I ran over to the pile motioning for them to come over.

" How are we going to do this?" Marc keeps acting like he does not know how this goes.

"Same as every year Marc!" I say in a slight yell showing that I am aggravated.

"ok ok don't yell at me kike that Jazzy!" My insides turned and tossed inside of me. Anger was flowing through my veins. 

"Look Marc remember 4,5,6 and 7th grade?" He looked directly into my eyes remembering. I kicked his ass in front of the school four times. I have a very bad anger problem.  My mom says that I am just like my dad in that way but who would ever want to be compared to a gang leader?

"What did you do to him Jasmine?" Ethan smirking as if I would not even break a pencil.

Ethan's Pov

Wow! something real just went down because Marc looks scared and I am pretty sure there's nothing to be afraid of look at her she is harmless.

 " Nothing important happened ok? It was just old problems from the past ok?" She is serious because the bright light in her eyes faded away and now is overruled by a grey cloud of self guilt.

"No problem Jaz. Let's just get started ok?" She nodded her head and turned to see a man behind her.

"Hi Jasmine sorry but the food is not here yet and won't be till' tonight there was a delay." She looked so pissed off. I did not want to make it worse so I just said.

"Don't worry man it's all good we can pass out food tomorrow I mean if you'll still have me?" I gave her a boy-ish smile brushing my fingers in my hair. I could see the bright light in her eyes come back over powering the cloud. Then the best thing happened to me or so I thought.
