Jasmine Pov

I just can't sleep at all in this room Marilyn cries every two hours. I went to the living room but it was just worse. So I got up and went to the kitchen and to boil some water to make some tea. Carmen came in looking like she was not tired at all.

"How do you do it?" I ask looking at her glowing skin and bright smile.

"She is the love of my life. It does not matter how she got here or what happened she is here now. All I can do is love her." A tear drop escaped from my eyes.

"How are you doing Carmen? You know with everything." I tried to hold my eyes to meet hers but couldn't, what happened to her was horrific.

"All I can do is deal. The night mares have not stopped but I need to push through for her."

"We can leave all of this and run away with Ethan and your siblings." Her faced caught a glimpse of hope but changed instantly and took a dark under tone.

"Jaz I just can't get up and move out of the blue. I have a child,bills, a job." I could tell she wanted to go with us and leave this behind.

"Don't worry about that my dad will pay for it." She turned to the side like she was not sure to say something or like she was almost afraid to.

"I just can't Jaz, t-there something I did not tell you Danny did not rape me y-your dad did." My chest started to get tight and my heart felt like it was going to fall out of my chest.

"You telling me that my d-ad did this to you!" I got up and yelled.

"Girl I just put Marilyn down keep it quite. Look you remember when I first came to the house I was only there to meet his needs what ever he wanted. I could not move without him telling me to or talk. When he noticed that you did not like this he made me fake my happiness." Carmen's eyes started to tear up. I moved towards her and hugged her tightly. I felt her shake in my arms.

"What is going on here?" Ethan walked in and looked so fine. His hair was messed up and he was shirtless he must have heard us talking because he looked like he just jumped out of bed.

"Carmen why are you crying?" He walked over to the counter and grabbed a tissue and handed it to her.

"I am fine there is something you need to know about my life in Jasmine's house." 

"Your scaring me a little is everything ok?"

Ethan's Pov

I jumped out of the bed when I heard Jasmine yell. I couldn't make up what she was saying but I went to go check. I did not realize that I did not have a shirt on until I noticed Jasmine checking me out. I love her so much I can't wait until I......

Carmen begins to tell me what is going on. " When I was kidnapped there were two guys in the car. They told me that I was the Rata's property now. They told me that I am to do everything I am told and that if I don't he'll punish me." She paused and tears started to flow from her eyes. " When I got to the house I met Jasmine's dad Marco the leader of "La Rata's" he told the guys to leave me alone with him. He started to feel me up and down. He told me to sit on his lap and when I didn't he took out this stick. Then bashed me in the knee I fell to the floor. When I got up he told me again so I obeyed. I had no choice, I scanned the room for an exit helplessly. From there we went to the big house. Where Jasmine lived with her grandma. before we got there he told me not to make a sound unless I want what happened in that room to happen again. I thought he meant the touching to but he never wanted that to stop. Fast forward to the actual part where I was raped. We were in the car and I saw him growing. I crossed my legs and moved over but played it off." She started crying I moved to her and held her. I could feel her pain it was like a wreking ball came and hit me a thousand times. 

"You don't have to say anymore Carmen. Don't relive the moment." I tried to hold the tears back but one escaped my eyes and rolled down my cheek. 

I went to the room to change when Carmen went to check on Marilyn. The door shut behind me I felt somone tap me from behind. 

"Ethan I'm sorry." Jasmine stood there fighting her tears and looked to the side. I grabed her face in my hands and made it so that our eyes met. In that instant she flung onto me and cried. I took comfort in her touch as she did mine. 

Little does she know what I have instore for her father.....
