Ethan's Pov

After the ten second kiss was over. Jasmine ran up the hill and sat under the big oak tree. I walked up there because I am not trying to stink you know...

"What are we doing up here?"

"I told you we are going to talk."

"So my dad is a drug lord he runs the gang Ratas. When I was younger my mother was kind but she died of drug overdose. My dad always had the stuff around I knew not to touch it but I guess she didn't so she died." I think Jasmine was just trying to be strong in all this because she said it in a blunt way. But then the water works came flowing down.

"When I found her she had a needle in her arm and foam flowing put of her mouth." She stopped and started to cry and I pulled her into my arms. I still needed to know what was going on did she know Carmen?

"Jasmine I know that this is hard to talk about but do you know anyone named carmen?" She moved her head from my chest and stared into my eyes like she knew exactly who I was talking about.

"Your dad is the gang leader of the Vippers?"

"Yes and my sister was kidnapped by your father after he shot me." I tried to sound strong but my voice trembled and I remembered the day.

Three years earlier

"Carmen dad said to wait in the car while he shows me how to run the drop off." I say to my eager sister. We really just wanted to go to the pool house. Next thing I know shots were being fired and a guy had Carmen grabbed by the neck and a gun to her head yelling.

"I swear man if you move your daughter dies!" I ran towards him and feel to the ground my body aching with pain. I was laying on the floor blood spilling from my body watching as my sister gets thrown into the back seat of a black van.

Present

Jasmine's eyes widened. I knew Carmen was alive I never lost hope.

"When Carmen first came to the house she was mad and quite. She used to pull my hair when my dad left. When he was there she was scared all the time never making a move without permission." She started to cry I knew something was wrong.

"So soon Carmen and I started to be best friends she'd tell me stories about her family. That she had a twin and he is going to come for her. She said that what ever happens to promise her that I will find you. When it was time for eighth grade Carmen started to act differently like something was wrong. She would fight in school, skip class and even smoke. When I asked her why she was doing this she told me to ask my dad. When I asked him he told me that our bus driver had raped Carmen and she was pregnant. Carmen told me she did not want the kid that she wanted to get an abortion. Then when we were at the clinic she changed her mind and said that she can't kill a life that she just could not do it. Three months ago she gave birth to a little girl."  Tears started to flow through my eyes.

"I'm an uncle?" The words from my mouth travled leaving an echo behind.
