Ethan's Pov 

Marc said something that changed my life he said "I have to go and can't come back tomorrow I have a football game." Jasmine waved her hands in the year and said.

"It's fine I think Ethan and I have it covered." A smile was painted over my face like I had won. 

"I can stay today if you want and help with the boxes." She looked directly at me as if asking what she should do but of course she always had an answer. 

"No it is ok Marc you can leave I think we got it and I will see you monday at school." Marc smiled and gave her a ten second hug. That is long in my opinion but who is counting? They pull away and he glares at me as if saying check-mate. It is all good anyways because when he walked away Jasmine dusted her arm off. Like she was in a state of disgust. Yet again another victory. 

"So I guess it is just me and you now huh?" She turns to me and smiles I guess this is going to be a good thing. 

"where are we going to start?" 

"We can start where we left off." I was suddenly questioning her every move.

"What do you mean?" She moved to the couch on the other side of the basement so I followed. 

" Since there is not really anything to do we should just order some food then start." There was no problem with what she was saying so I just went along.

"Ok what do you want to eat?" She reached for her back pocket and Took her phone out. 

"Maybe chinese food?" I love chinese food it is my favorite.

"Sure that will be great."

"I love chinese don't you?" Yet another thing in common.

"yup" Why do I keep letting off that I don't care about anything vibe? She ordered the food and made it a delivery. 

Jasmine's Pov

When I finished ordering the food I looked at Ethan and just wanted to know something about him. Who is he?

"Tell me about yourself Ethan what are your biggest fears and deepest values?" I laugh at the look on his face.

"What's so funny?" He reaches over and punches my shoulder. My arm tingles and I feel complete with his touch.

"Your facial expression that's all" I lean in and punch him on the shoulder like he did to me.

"Ok kid what do you want to know?" I had an endless amount of questions but only one came to mind. Why am I in love with a boy I don't really know and how can I love someone when I don't know how to love myself? I play it cool and say.

"I am not a kid and trust me I am not as young as I look." I say trying to prove my point and end up looking childish.

"Oh really how old are you?"

"14 tomorrow I will be 15."

"We are the same age my birth day is tomorrow too." I looked at him with my eyes wide open and suddenly had an idea.

"We should both share a cake tomorrow!" I basically yelled. He looked so uncomfortable.

"I have not celebrated my birthday since my mom left." I felt a tear slide down my cheek because I know what it is like to lose a parent.

"I am sure she would have wanted you to still be happy on your day." I say putting my hand on his.

"If she wanted me to be happy she would not have left us." He said I could see the pain in his eyes.

"I lost my mom about two years ago and now I live with my grandma Amy dad's mom. He is always in and out due to buissnes." He looked at me as though I just solved the mystery to his puzzle. In that moment he leaned in close and kissed me. Of course I kissed back. Thirty seconds passed and we pulled away. In those thirty seconds I felt complete like nothing was missing the whole world was at peace my heart was full.

Ethan's Pov

I don't know what came over me. I knew that it was just the right moment. I felt the need to make her forget the pain she clearly felt. I needed to make myself whole again. Just talking to her made me feel love. I felt whole I just needed to know if it was real. We gazed into each other's eyes and she moved in. She laid a soft gentle hand on my chest and a kiss on my lips.

"I feel complete." I blurt out she moves slightly back and smiles.

"So do I."
