Am I the only one who sees what you've become?

LAURA'S P.O.V

I woke up at around 9:30am the next morning. I looked outside and it was dull and cloudy , just like my mood. I slipped on my black ripped skinny jeans and walked downstairs. Ashley was on the couch watching tv , sipping at his cup of tea.

"Goodmorning! Slept well?" He said.

"Morning , yeah that bed is comfy as fuck." I smiled and sat down next to him .

"Want some tea?" He looked at me and smiled.

"Yes please." I said.

"Here you go." He handed me his mug and I took a sip of the warm liquid.

"Thankyou , Ash." I handed him his mug back and smiled at him.

We kept quiet for a bit , I was still hurt because of what happened the day before but I guess I'll try to ignore it for a bit , until it's time to work things out.

"Sooo..What do you wanna do today?" A big cheesy grin formed on his face.

"Anything." I shrugged , not turning my attention away from the tv.

"How about we go have some drinks with the guys? They haven't seen you in so long and they've been moaning about how much they want to see you!" He suggested.

"Yeah sure! I miss them terribly!" I got all excited and happy all of a sudden , causing Ashley to smile real big.

"Wait...I have to go get some clothes from Austin's house first cause I have abseloutely nothing to wear except these jeans and my jumper." My excitement soon faded away and I remained quiet.

"Don't worry , I'll come with you just in case something happens." He said. 

"Thankyou." I hugged him and then glued my attention back to the tv.

Ashley called Andy , CC , Jinxx and Jake to tell them about tonight. I'm so excited , feels like forever since I last saw them.

"We'll be there at 8:00pm." He said as he sat back down next to me.

"Can't wait! Now every minute feels like an hour." I whined.

"I got an idea!" said Ashley. He ran upstairs , leaving me clueless about what his idea is. Then he came running downstairs with one of his basses.

"Let's teach you some bass!" He looked stoked about.

"Are you sure? I can be a slow learner sometimes." I wasn't sure about it but I thought hey , why not? 

I sat at the edge of the couch while Ashley got everything set up , then he gave me the bass and sat behind me. He showed me a few bass chords then , after minutes and minutes of trying I finally got it right.

'Fallen Angels' by 'Black Veil Brides' started playing and Ashley placed his hands on mine to guide me and help me since I was a beginner. I only manaaged to play the first part of the song though.

"That was pretty good for your first time! Well done!" He said.

"Thankyou! You're quite a good bass teacher , not gonna lie." I high-fived him and gave him the bass back.

~ Some hours later ~ 

We drove to Austin's house to get some of my stuff. His car was in the driveway and I could feel my heart racing , my breathing became rapid like I was close to a panic attack but I forced myself to stay as calm as possible.

"I'm gonna wait for you here Laura , if anything happens just scream and I'll come there straight away okay? said Ashley.

"Thankyou , I won't be long." I got out of the car and headed to the door , I took my keys out of my pocket and opened the door. I walked past the living room and I couldn't believe my eyes.
