Lost it all.

LAURA'S P.O.V

The sudden sound of the alarm clock caused me to accidentally fall off my bed , hitting my head in the process.

"Bloody fucking hell." I groaned as I rubbed the back of my head. The sound of my body hitting the floor woke up Ashley who looked confused as hell , probably thinking what the hell was I doing on the floor at 8:00am in the morning.

 "What happened Laura?!" He asked , his voice still coated in sleep.

"I was having a horrible dream and then my alarm scared the hell out of me and I fell out of bed." I said , still laying on the floor with the covers wrapped around me. 

"Awww , are you okay?" He kind of looked like he wanted to laugh but he tried to stay serious.

"I'm okay , just bumped by head a little , and you can laugh Ashley I know it's funny." I let out a small laugh and picked myself off the floor and sat down on the bed next to Ashley.

"Why did you have to get up early?" He asked me.

"I have work today." I wasn't really looking forward but I had to go anyway.

He whined and said "Stay here pleaaaaaaaaaaase."

"I'd love to but I can't Ash." 

He pouted and put his hand on his chest , pretending to be hurt. 

He sat up and rested his head against the headboard, as he grabbed my hand and squeezed it gently. I looked at him and we both smiled. I let go of his hand and sat on top of him , straddling him , I cupped his cheek in my hand and kissed him softly until I realised I'm gonna be late for work.

"Shit I better start getting ready for work." I felt sorry that I had to leave Ash for the day but I couldn't skip work.

I showered and put on a camouflage print leggings, a Motley Crue t-shirt and a pair of black Converse. 

"Bye Ashley." I planted one last kiss on his lips and made my way downstairs. Andy , CC , Jake and Jinxx were still passed out in the living room. My shift won't be over untill 5:00pm , which seemed like forever. I'm missing Ashley today and for some reason , I couldn't wait untill I went back home to him.

My shift is finally over which means I can go back gome and spend the rest of the day with Ashley and my best friends! (Andy , CC, Jake , Jinxx) As I was making my way out of the store , I got a phonecall from Andy.

Me: Hello? 

Andy: Laura..I don't know how to say this..

Me: Andy? What's going on? 

Andy: Ashley was on the way to pick you up from work to surprise you and...he got in a car accident...

Me: What?! Is he hurt? Is he at the hospital?!

Andy: He's unconscious and he has a head injury. We're at the hospital down the road if you want to come.

Me: Of course I'm coming! Bye Andy...

And with that I hung up. I broke down crying , while running to my car. I can't lose Ashley now. This is all my fault...he was driving over here to surprise me and he got in a car crash. I quickly drove to the hospital , praying that Ashley will be okay. I parked in the parking lot and took off in a dead sprint to the receptionist area.

"Excuse me, can you tell me which room Ashley Purdy's in please?" I was panicked and my eyes were red and puffy from all the crying.

The nurse looked at me sympathetically and said "He's in room 314 Miss."

"Thankyou." I ran past the rooms , looking for room 314. There it is! I walked in and saw Andy , CC , Jake and Jinxx surrounded around Ashley's bed. They made room for me so I could see Ash.

"Ashley.." I whispered , as I stroked his hair and cried.

"He's going to be okay Laura. The nurses told us he's in a coma but it's not very bad. He should wake up in a couple of days." said Andy. He faked a smile and I gave him one in return.

Ashley please wake up. Please. I need you...

The nurses came in to check on Ash every now and then. It's dead silent and all I can hear is Ashley's heart monitor beeping. Visiting hours were over at 7:00pm but the nurses said one of us was allowed to stay with Ash during the night. The guys all looked at me and nodded , telling me that I can stay. I gave each of them a hug and they left. 

I sat down on the chair next to Ashley's bed. I grabbed his hand and just stared at him , hoping he'll wake up soon. I rested my head on his bed and seconds later , I drifted off to sleep , still holding Ashley's hand.
