'Your eyes, they shine so bright, I wanna save that light

~~~
He couldn't take it....It was driving him insane.
She was all he could think about, not school, his friends, his family or even the ridiculous amount of texts, phone calls and house visits Diana had given him. All he cared about...
Was Genna.
He had came to the conclusion that something was wrong....something must have been wrong, because after the little time they had spent together, the time that felt like a lifetime to Luke, he knew that they had both grown fond of each other and wether or not she was willing to admit it, Genna had feelings for him.
For a while he thought that maybe something was wrong at home maybe her father had abused her, or perhaps her sisters had fought with her. He had decided on visiting her home, with the hope of talking to her and aiming to saving her from the ones that hurt her.
Luke knew what it was Like to be abused, to feel alone as if nobody cared and the whole world despised you. That's why he would always harm himself, a way of him to release his demons or even...allow them to release themselves.
Though most of his demons were locked away when he met Michael and Calum, though there were still some that remained and Luke hadn't realised until he met that girl in the library that day, the one who was sneakily watching his argument with Diana unfold, hiding her nose within a book that she would be the one who could save him unaware that he was also the one who could save her.
When the day had arrived for Luke to head over to Genna's house, it was suddenly as if he was given a sign from fate.
The first part of that sign of course came in the form of a high heeled, curly haired, loud mouthed snob that he knew all too well, strutting directly towards him, looking as hough if he didn't move out of the way she would walk right through him.
"Lukey." She yelled, skipping the rest of the way up to him and wrapping her arms around his neck, pulling herself off the ground so he had no choice but to support her incase she fell backwards and pulled him with her.
He said nothing, knowing that time and time again he had to drill the reality if the fact that they were no longer together into her head.
"I missed you." She pouted, pulling away, keeping her arms wrapped around his neck.
"Diana i've told you.-" he spoke through gritted teeth.
"Your eyes....they're just so perfect and blue." She interrupted, deliberately changing the subject.
"Wh- listen-" he shook his head annoyed,
"Look at how the light reflects in them, they shine so bright. I remember i use to always tell you that. Do you remember?"
"No." He spat, unhooking her arms from around his neck and taking a safe step back from her, knowing that she was not in the mood to listen to him.
She scoffed with attitude, flaring her nostrils at him angrily before simply waving in off in an attempt to remain calm.
"Luke, baby..."
"Don't call me that." He hissed.
"Why don't we just, forget about this whole foolish ordeal and head back to my place, i think my parents are out but if not then who cares, they're adults, so it's not like they haven't experienced it anyway." She spoke, resting her weight on her right leg and placing a hand on her hip hoping to get her way with Luke.
