I can't escape this now, Unless you show me how'

She looked up at Luke with worry in her eyes, fully aware of what Diana was going to do.

"Why did you do that Luke?" She yelled, her breathing increasing as she kept her gaze focused on Diana, watching her walk away.

"Wh-i ...i thought-"

"No you didn't think, God do you have any idea what she's going to do?" She snapped before taking off, in Diana's direction after she faded out of sight hoping to convince her not to do what she had planned. He pulled her arm back again, causing her to come to a halt.

"Get off me Luke." She begged, attempting to pry his hand off her.

"Why? Look Genna just tell me-"

"My parents...she's going to tell my parents. She threatened to tell them about us before and now she's going to do it, Luke please let me go i have to stop her." She cried, as the water began to fill her vision.

The information sunk in within a matter of seconds and Luke had immediately released Genna's arm and took off, faster than her in the direction of her house, knowing what Diana was capable of.

They hurried down the street, turning to the direction of Genna's house and coming to a complete stop outside of it noticing Diana was not around.

"She's not here." Luke panted as Genna copied, bending over and placing her hands on her knees to catch her breath.

"It's fine see, she's not gonna do it." He told her, as she stood back up, moving closer to her and embracing her into a hug as her arms wrapped tightly around his torso her heart rapidly beating from fear.

They stayed like that for a few moments, both teens leaning on each other to catch their breaths. Until of course, they heard the door open.

They pulled apart immediately, expecting to only see her sisters and their boyfriends....not Diana and her parents.

"You see, i told you they were dating." Diana smiled wickedly at Genna as her fathers eyes pierced into hers, if looks could kill.....

Luke noticed her tense up and could already see the water fill her eyes as Genna was frozen to the spot in fear. He noticed her sisters stood at the bottom of the stairs inside the house, biting down their lips and staring out at Genna sympathetically, for they too had secrets of their own.

"Get inside. Now." Her father growled as Diana walked down the porch and took it as her que to leave, but not before smirking at a fearful Genna and an angered Luke.

She couldn't bring herself to move, she was completely paralysed and Luke wondered why she feared him so much, even so, he stood by her protectively, glaring at her father whilst her mother stood by him.

"I am not going to tell you again Genna."

The tears fell from her eyes and her breathing grew quick and heavy. She knew what it would mean for her if she made the mistake to walk inside the house. Everybody feared father, they would all look the other way whilst he did as he pleased and Genna knew what would become of her if she walked inside.

"No." She hiccuped, reaching down to clutch Luke's hand tightly in hers, as he looked down at it and gave her hand a reassuring squeeze.

"No?." He questioned, with a cynical smirk on his face.

"NO!" He yelled. She flinched and gripped Luke's hand tighter digging her nails into his skin and imprinting crescent moons onto his.

He took steps towards her in a hurry and she couldn't tell if he was going to go for Luke or her so she did the only thing she could think of, she pulled on his hand....

And she ran.

They ran, together. Her vision blurred and her body shaking as Luke ran beside her, deciding not too speak until they had stopped. Her father chased after them but gave up once they had reached the end of the street, knowing very well that she would be back and he would be waiting.

When she stopped on an isolated street corner she turned to Luke and cried into his chest, whilst he simply held her shaking body in his arms and held her tight, whispering comforting words which he knew would never work, into her ear.

A few hours later they went to sit by the lake in the park and though she was still teary and shaking she had decided to tell Luke why she was too scared to go back home, why she feared her father and what would happen if they were alone.

"There's nothing i can do Luke. I have to go home." She cried, wiping her own tears away.

"You can't go back." He told her, both of them looking deep into each others eyes, and he tried so desperately to think of some other ultimatum.

"I can't escape this now, not unless you show me how." She shrugged as more tears built up inside her eyes and fell, though this time she did not bother to wipe them away, knowing it would be pointless.

"Maybe i can." He told her, moving closer to her and pulling her into him, allowing her to rest her head on his chest as he stroked her hair soothingly.

"How?" She mumbled.

"We'll run away."

HELOOOO SO GUYS, LITERALLY ONE CHAPTER LEFT THEN THE EPILOGUE BECAUSE THIS STORY NEEDS ONE OR ELSE IT WILL JUST BE WEIRD LOL.
