Chapter two

After the day at the club where Jason and I finally got together, we progressed with our relationship. We would go on dates, hang out everywhere together and spend the nights in each other's dorms. Life was perfect, I still couldn't believe that I was actually with Jason, he's honestly amazing. After a month of dating, my best friend Jem decided to come over for a visit. She normally lives in another city and I was pleasantly surprised to see her visit. I haven't seen her in a few months. Jason and I were skating that day, he was showing me a new move when Jem ran up to us. 

"Ella!! girl I've missed you" She yelled while engulfing me in a hug. I smiled widely. I've missed her excitable personality. 

"Jem oh my god, what are you doing here?! I thought you could only visit in the summer" I exclaimed. She smiled at me. Jemstone Jade Crystal has been my best friend since elementary school. She is dating Jason's twin brother Aaron Anderson. 

"Surprise!! I had a break during the semester and I just had to come to visit my bestie" She left the hug and bounced for joy. 

"Well, I am indeed surprised" I laughed. Jason walked up behind us. Jem stared at him. 

"Hey Jem, long time no see. How's my brother doing?" He shook Jem's hand. 

"You too Jason. Aaron is doing fantastic. I didn't know that you knew Ella" She told him and he smiled. I never told Jem that we were dating, I wonder how she will take it. 

"Hey we should go back to the dorms and catch up, I'm tired of being out here" I mentioned and they both agreed. I can't wait to sit down. We walked over to Jason's dorm which was right across the hall from mine. We entered the blue-colored dorm. Jem's eyes widened. 

"Woah that's a lot of blue" Jem stated while looking around. I giggled, Jason really loves the color blue. His dorm was in the same format as mine, there was a bed, a dining table, a washroom in the corner, a dresser, and a couch. The only difference between our dorms is the color, I prefer a nice purple aesthetic. 

"Yea he really loves blue" I stated causing her to nod. Jason walked over to his fridge and grabbed himself a soft drink while Jem and I went to sit down on his sofa. 

"So Jason how exactly do you know Ella?" Jem asked him while he joined us on the couch. He looked over at me. 

"Do you want to tell her?" He asked me and I smiled at her. 

"Well, Jason and I ran into each other a few months ago at the state park than at a school party he finally asked me out. Now we have been dating ever since" I explained to her and her face turned to shock. She was about to say something when Jason's phone rang. He looked down at his phone and smiled. 

"Oh I must take this" He answered the phone and I knew it was his brother. 

"Is that Aaron? Can I talk to him please?" Jem asked while taking Jason's phone out of his hand. 

"Did you know Ella and Jason were dating?!" She shouted while stepping out of the room to continue their conversation. She looked angry on her way out. I hope that she's okay with this. 

"Aaron is going to die" I mentioned to Jason and he gulped. Jem can be really scary when people keep secrets from her. Jason sat me on his lap and kissed my neck while we waited for Jem to come back. She walked back into the dorm and sat back on the couch. 

"Hey, El can we go back to your dorm? I would like to talk" She stated and my eyes widened. I agreed before she dragged me out. I looked at Jason with pleading eyes and he just smiled at me. We walked into my dorm and Jem sat on my couch. 

"So why exactly did you drag me over here?" I asked her. I know that she probably wants to talk about my relationship with Jason. 

"What the hell is wrong with you?! How could you possibly date Jason of all people??" She yelled at me. I raised an eyebrow, does she have a problem with Jason?

"What do you mean? What's wrong with Jason?" I asked her. I don't understand why she is so angry. 

"It's freaking Jason, you know how I dislike Jason. He's always been so cold to us when we used to visit. He even stole my pencils back in elementary school" She explained. I just looked at her. I didn't know she had these pointless issues with Jason. That was years ago, heck even I completely forgot about that until just now. 

"I really don't understand your problem, that was years ago. Plus you're the one dating his twin brother, can't you move past that? I love Jason and I really wish you could get along with my boyfriend" I explained to her. That was actually the first time I mentioned loving Jason. 

"You love him?! Omg Ella, I'm so happy for you!! I just thought that he was a random boyfriend but if you love him then I can learn to get along with him. Also, how dare you diss my Aaron" She stated while ending it with some sass. I rolled my eyes. 

"Fine fine, I'm happy that he makes you so happy, if he hurts you though I won't hesitate to slay a bitch" She explained and I laughed. 

"Now let's go to the beach, I need a tan" She exclaimed while jumping off my couch and heading out the door. Honestly, this girl is crazy. 

Chapter two is done. In this chapter, we learn more about the relationship between Jem and Jason but in the end, she is going to accept her besties relationship.
