29 Neibolt House

The house on 29 Neibolt street was said to be a place that was built two hundred years ago; it was one of the oldest buildings in Derry. It was about two stories high with wooden barricades nailed all over the windows and vines that grew up on the sides of the house.

The outside of the building contained a huge yard that grew yellow, wilted sunflowers that spread all around the area, except for a small patch of dirt that held a tall, black tree with a twisted trunk that bent in several, unnatural ways...

Georgie swallowed nervously as he stared up at the huge building in front of him.

He silently scolded himself for making such a poor decision in coming here in the first place and began fiddling with his shirt uncontrollably.

"Come on Georgie.." Georgie whispered. "It's just a house.."

Georgie held his breath anxiously as he quickly ran over to the door and grasped the handle tightly.

"Well.. Here goes everything!" His battle cry cry echoed through the house as he slammed open the door, causing the hinges to shake and groan under his weight.

"Oops.."

Quietly Georgie entered the house and closed the door gently, becoming more nervous as the door creaked loudly and clicked like an old broken key lock.

"H-helllo? Penny?" Georgie called nervously. "I.. I need to talk to you... Please?"

Georgie waited anxiously for a response as he looked around at the ancient scenery. Surprisingly the decor of the house seemed fairly modern, It had two large rooms on either side of the front door and on the left side of the corridor sat a stairway that circled upwards into the second floor.

"Wow." Georgie gasped as he tipped his head upwards to see the light of the sun flow inside of the house gently. It spread across the staircase brightly as it illuminated like a gentle sunset of colours, orange and yellow. It was simply breathtaking..

"Georgie?"

Georgie squeaked in surprise as he quickly turned his head towards the door behind him, seeing his brother, Bill standing in the doorway.

"Guh-Georgie? What a-are you doing here?" Billy asked surprised.

"N-nothing!" Georgie swallowed embarrassedly. "What are you doing here?"

"I'm.. exploring with m-my fr-friends." Billy lied calmly. He didn't want to scare Georgie on why he was really there.

Georgie frowned suspiciously and looked over behind Billy where his friends waited patiently outside. Beverly, who was waiting on the porch steps, looked over at Billy and spotted Georgie in front of him and gasped silently.

"Uh.. Why is Georgie here Bill?" Beverly asked worriedly.

"I d-don't know." Billy replied, turning his head at Beverly. "He s-s-said he wasn't d-doing anything."

Beverly frowned slightly and glanced over and Georgie, smiling softly.

"Hey half pint. Do you wanna explain why your here?" Beverly asked curiously.

Georgie sighed deeply as he walked over to Beverly and Bill, not making eye contact as they watched him leave the inside of the house quietly.

"Its nothing. I was just going to head home anyway." Georgie said suddenly eager as he strode over to his trike and sat himself on top of it.

"okay..? I'll s-see you at home t-then?" Billy asked confusedly.

"Sure!" Georgie replied cheerfully. "Bye guys!"

Georgie waved as he peddled down the road quickly, leaving Billy and the rest of the losers club left speechless at Georgie's weird behavior.

"Dude. Does Georgie have Bipolar?" Richie asked. "Cuz that was really, really strange.."

Billy ignored Richie's question and stared off down the road where Georgie disappeared and frowned. He is definitely up to something Billy thought suspiciously.

"N-nevermind that.. Let's juh-just go inside and g-get this over with.." Billy said as he began walking inside the house carelessly.

The rest of the losers club eyed each other worriedly as they watched their leader disappear into the darkness and swallowed nervously.

"Dammit. When will we ever catch a break!" Richie groaned loudly as he followed Beverly and Eddie inside.
