Floating away (2017 IT au)

An alternative ending...

(Warning! Read chapter 'Paper Boat' before going to this.)

"P-please d-dont! I thought we were friends!" George yelled.

"Friends!?" Pennywise laughed. "Don't be silly, we were never friends.."

"Then why did you spare me?" George asked as he slowly crawled away.

Pennywise laughed and slammed his gloved hands into the soil, clutching it tightly in his balled fists. George flinched and looked down at Pennywise's hands, noticing how  they were quickly beginning to turn black and rip up the white gloves. He was turning into that monster again!

"I didn't spare you Georgie. I waited.." Pennywise smiled. "I've waited for a looong time, until I could finally get yo- ACK!"

Suddenly Pennywise stumbled off to the side in distress as he held his large head and rubbed small circles into it. Georgie, confused looked up at where the rock came from and wouldn't you know it, standing there broadly, huffing and puffing was Bill!

"Bill!" Georgie cried out.

"Georgie!"

"Bill! Georgie! Bill! Georgiee..."

Pennywise laughed coldly as he turned around to face his attacker, a furious grin stretched on his cheeks and his eyes glowed red with blood lust. "Oh hohoho! Dinner and dessert~ Oh I'm so going to enjoy killing you most of ALL!!"

Suddenly Pennywise cracked his neck to face Georgie in one of the most horrific ways Georgie had ever seen as he smiled sickly and drooled.

"Not to worry Georgie, you'll still be my special meal.." Pennywise spoke lowly.
As if compelled to chase him like a dog, Pennywise sped off and laughed as he targeted his newest prey, bounding towards him like he'd just found his favourite chew toy.

Billy predicted this however and ran towards the towering beast, slipping right from under him as he jumped back into action and skidded into a very awestruck Georgie. Pennywise stopped in his tracks and immediately turned around to see Bill giving Georgie a piggy back ride, running fruitlessly to a nearby tunnel.

"No wHEre TO rUN LoSEr!!" Pennywise bellowed as he chased after the two boys on all fours.

"Billy! He's gaining on us!" Georgie warned.

"I know, I know! Ju-just huh-hold on Georgie!"

As the brothers reached the tunnel they splashed through the murky waters and Georgie held on tight, as instructed, closing his eyes shut. He could still hear Pennywise behind them but it was slower and further away now. Once far enough, Billy slowed into a stop in the middle of two tunnels, dropping Georgie onto his feet.

"I-is it coming?" Billy asked.

"Mmmaybe~"

"G-georgie? A-are you ok?"

....

"Georgie? Why would yuh-you say t-that-!"

Not Georgie! Not Georgie!!

"AhahahahaHAHAHAHA!!!!"

The body that once possessed the form of Georgie now shifted and curled until it quickly vanished. In his place now stood the six foot, crazed, red eyed clown that was Pennywise; who was blissfully enjoying every second of Bills distress. He gave a curt bow and smiled wickedly.

"Enjoying the show? I sure am!" Pennywise bleated.

"Where's GEORGIE!!?" Bill hollered, trudging towards pennywise throwing a hit after hit at the Clown.
