"S-so what did you guys f-find?"

Billy, Richie and Eddie were all standing outside in the mushy water just outside the entrance to the sewer tunnels. Eddie was staring nervously at the sewer water as Richie laughed and pointed at Eddie.

"Just some of Eddie's moms spare fat and shit!" Richie laughed.

"That's so not funny Richie!" Eddie replied angrily.

Richie just smirked and turned toward Billy seriously. "Na just kidding,. But in all seriousness we saw someone in the sewers."

"W-who?" Billy asked.

"I don't fucking know! I would've said if I knew obviously." Richie tsked, shaking his head dramatically.

"Well did y-you see t-t-their face?" Billy asked curiously.

"No, we just heard a load bells and saw something bright red, then it just disappeared.." Eddie explained.

"It was p-probably n-nothing." Billy reassured tiredly.

"I say we check it out!" Richie said excitedly.

"Fuck no!" Eddie yelled. "It's covered in grey water!"

"What the fucks "grey water." Richie asked.

"It- it's basically piss and shit.. I'm telling you, if you go in there you'll be standing in gallons and gallons of people's waste." Eddie cringed.

Richie glanced back at the sewers and smiled deviously grabbing a stick, shoving it in the water.

"So your saying that if I were to throw this on you, you'd be covered in people's aids?" Richie asked..

"Y-yeah? Where are you going with this?" Eddie asked nervously.

Richie suddenly turned around smiling, holding a soaked, lumpy twig in his hands.

"C'mere Eddie!" Richie said cheerfully. "It's time for your bath!"

"Ahhh!" Eddie screamed, "NO NO NO!! Don't you fucking dare!!" Eddie shouted as Richie ran after him laughing maniacally.

"Come on Eddie! Just imagine it's your mum on steroids! Haha!" Richie teased.

"NO!! Fucking stop! Richie!" Eddie screamed louder.

"T-that's enough g-guys!" Billy yelled.

Richie chucked and stopped chasing Eddie whilst he swung the twig side to side playfully.

Eddie just quickly bolted behind Billy and glared at Richie hatefully.

"W-well what should we do?" Billy asked.

Richie glanced back at the tunnel curiously. "I still think we should have a look."

"What!? Are you crazy? What if there's a crocodile?" Eddie said in terror.

"The- theres no crocodiles i-in Derry E-Eddie." Billy replied.

"Yeah and even if there was, they'd probably smell your mum and die from an overdose of diabetes." Richie grinned.

"That's impossible." Eddie said boredly.

"I-I think w-we should go t-t-too." Billy said.

Eddie stared at his two friends horrified and was about to voice his protest when suddenly a loud noise snapped from behind them.

Eddie, Billy and Richie quickly turned their heads towards the woods searching for something behind them when Billy spotted a small figure behind a tree.

"Georgie?" Billy called.

Behind a tree Georgie hid from his brother and his friends, silently praying they couldn't see him.

"Georgie?" Billy's voice called. "Is that you?"

Georgie sighed and looked at the ground shamefully, he had been caught and now he was going to be in trouble.. Carefully Georgie stepped around the tree and onto the sand where his brother was staring horrified. Georgie didn't say anything and tried to give a small smile to Billy, who ran up to him and grabbed his hands.

"Georgie? W-what are y-you d-doing here?" Billy asked annoyed.

"What is Georgie doing here?" Richie asked Billy as he stood beside him with Eddie on the other side.

"I.. I just wanted to play.." Georgie replied quietly.

"But I t-told you I'd b-be back s-s-soon!" Billy said.

Georgie didn't reply as he looked down embarrassed, tears starting to form. Billy sighed and crouched down hugging Georgie, silently rubbing circles on the small boys back.

Eddie and Richie just watched awkwardly, feeling as though they were interrupting on a private moment between the two brothers.

"Are you mad?" Georgie asked timidly.

"No G-Georgie, I'm just h-happy you're ok." Billy smiled as he patted Georgie's back.

Georgie smiled and wiped away his tears as he looked off to the side where the entrance of the tunnels were. As he looked Georgie spotted Pennywise standing inside it smiling at him creepily and waving

Georgie flinched a little under the clowns strange stare but remembered to always be polite and smiled, giving the clown a friendly wave in return.
Pennywise's smile dropped again instantly, this wasn't turning out as he hoped it would.

Georgie continued to watch him, a little confused by Pennywise's facial expressions but was brought back from his thoughts with a sudden jolt as Billy accidentally bumped into him. Fortunately for him, his mind was too focused on his friends so Georgie could go focus on his friend. But as soon as he turned around to face him again, mister Penny was gone and in his place floated a bright red balloon.

Georgie frowned and stared at it.
Where did he go?

"Georgie?" Billy called.

Georgie turned to Billy quickly with a questioning gaze. "Yeah Billy?" He asked.

"We're g-going home now." Billy said, quickly holding his smaller brother's hands.

"Sure, but let just grab that-" Georgie pointed, "balloon..?" It was gone.

Billy shook his head and ignored him before turning around to say farewell to his friends. "I'll s-see you guys t-tomorrow," he said apologetically.

"Yeah ok. Nice seeing ya squirt!" Richie waved.

"See ya!" Eddie smiled.

The boys all waved each other off as they departed, the brothers leaving on their bikes while the other two stayed behind and walked off together to fetch theirs a little further up the road. As the Denbroughs silently sped off, Georgie thought back to the clown and the balloon, why'd they both disappear, why didn't he stay?
Billy was also having a similar line of thought as he watched his brother peddle; though his thoughts were more like: why did Georgie mention a balloon? How come he seemed so spaced out today?

But neither of them said anything, neither would know what the other was thinking until perhaps it was too late?
And definitely, the two of them, and the rest of the losers who would soon learn the truth, had no idea that Pennywise was already watching them. Studying them. Craving them..

He began to cackle.

The more the merrier...
