Gerard's POV:

Since I didn't have classes today, I decided to pay another visit to Frank and Mikey. Mostly Mikey because I left him last time without saying goodbye.

Lindsey stayed back at the academy while I visited New Jersey. It was boring without her but it was great how she reacted when I told her about yesterday with Jamia. I smiled, chuckling to myself. I got up from my bed and began to undress from my skeleton onesie. I opened my luggage, finding an outfit.

I booked a room at a decent hotel; I didn't want to stay at home where Frank is. When it was winter break, I could tell that sharing a bathroom with an attractive guy like Frank was weird enough for me.

I put on a random shirt, it was yellow at the V neck and two yellow stripes across my ribs and chest. There was a number - '05'- hanging above my nipple. It was a cool shirt. I slipped on black skinny jeans so that it can show my curves. I looked in the mirror and noticed my hair.

My hair was growing and I thought about letting it grow until the tips barely reached to my shoulders. I also knew I needed to re-dye it again because my roots are starting to show. I shrugged it off for now and took a military jacket. I put it on, grabbing my keys and phone and putting on my messenger bag. I had my sketchbook inside and I almost take it with me everywhere.

After I locked my room, I went downstairs to the exit, trying to avoid the receptionist.

"Good morning, sir," The lady, the receptionist, smiled.

"Good morning," I muttered, hurrying out to the exit. I didn't make eye contact with her, it was hard for me to do it. I finally made it to my car, turning on the engine and making a fast drive to the nearest Starbucks.

I drove into the drive-thru and ordered a simple hot coffee. I paid for it and made my next stop to my house.

Once I arrived, I got out of my car and walked up the step to the front door, coffee in my hand. I unlocked the door but didn't get a chance to open when it opened itself. I looked up and realized Frank opened it for me.

"Hey, Gerard," He smiled, biting his lip afterwards.

"Hi," I said, walking inside when Frank stepped aside. I placed the plastic cup on the table and turned back around to face Frank. I did face him but didn't make much eye contact.

"Gee," Frank said, stepping towards me.

"Yeah," I replied slowly. "I just wanted to visit you guys."

"You don't look at me much," he said, ignoring my statement. I gave him a confused look and he just chuckled in response. "I meant that you don't make eye contact with me," He rephrased the sentence.

"Of course I do," I said.

"Yeah, for like a second."

"I'm sorry?" I apologized. "I have anxiety and I barely make contact with people. It just shows I'm not confident," I explained.

"Really?" Frank asked and I nodded. "Well, it seemed you were pretty confident yesterday."

"Yeah, I don't know where that came from." I shrugged. "Anyways, is Mikey still asleep?"

"Yeah," Frank sighed out. "You didn't bother bringing me coffee?" He gestured to the cup of coffee I had.

"I was thinking about myself, Frank. What'd you expect?"

"Um, I don't know, maybe bringing me coffee too," he remarked. I laughed and Frank just smiled.

"You have such a nice laugh," Frank said.
