I sat alone at the lunch table, listening to some music. MJ was in the library working on some project of hers and both Ned and Peter didn't come to school. It was sort of weird because the day before, they didn't look sick at all. It didn't bother me but I couldn't help but feel a little bit lonely.

Before I knew it, Will Olsen slid into the seat in front of me with a grin on his face.

"Lost your pack?" he asked me, still sporting the silly grin. I rolled my eyes at him and I took off my earpods so I could hear him better.

"They're with the academic decathlon team in Washington with Liz," he said.

"I thought Peter wasn't going to the nationals," I said confused.

"He joined in last minute, I think."

"This is so weird. Thanks for telling me Will. I really appreciate it," I told him.

"It's no problem. Hey, do you want to join our table?" he asked.

"Yeah, thanks. Oh- before I forget, I need to make a phone call first."

"Go ahead," Will said. I left the cafeteria and I walked to my locker.  I unlocked my locker and I took out a small hair tie out from my little pouch. I tied my hair into an unneat ponytail and I left for home.

The walk wasn't too long or tiring and I had arrived in no time. Luckily everyone was either at school or at work. As I entered, Einstein greeted me and I gave him a belly rub. I changed into some comfier clothes and I put my suit on.

"B, we've got a long road in front of us. I need you to give me Spider man's suit coordinates," I said. The co-ordinates popped up on my screen and I could tell they were already halfway through New Jersey.

"Looks like we've got a long way there, would you like to inform Mr Stark?" B asked me.

"Um.. No don't inform him," I said hurriedly. Before I left my house, I left a little note of the fridge. It read; "Off to Washington. Nothing to worry about. Pls don't tell Tony. Love you xx"

With that, I left through the living room's window so none of the neighbours could catch me on the front porch. I flew over my neighbourhood and over the city. I don't have a huge fear of heights but flying over huge buildings wasn't something I liked thinking about. Luckily, I was out of the city in 15 minutes and I flew over some towns and smaller cities. I knew it was going to be a longer ride than usual so while I was gliding over the earth, I listened to some music.

It wasn't the most interesting flight ever but after an hour or so, I was in Washington DC.

I landed in a quaint alleyway and before I took off my suit, B gave me Peter and Ned's location. Once I did take it off, I placed it in my backpack and I left the alley. I walked to the nearest bus station and fortunately the bus didn't take long to come. It took me about a half an hour to arrive to my desired bus stop but it was quite close to the hotel they were staying at.

I walked on the sidewalk as the orange sun was setting. I was glad that I managed to arrive with no problems and before the sky went all dark.

The Hotel was nothing too spectacular but it was quite big and it had way too many posters promoting the academic decathlon. I walked up to the red-headed receptionist at the front desk.

"Hi, I'm looking for my friends but I have no idea which room is theirs," I said kindly to the woman.

"What are their names?" she asked me.

"Ned Leeds and Peter Parker," I said. She typed on the keyboard in front of her and she clicked a couple of times.

"Your friends are in room 349," she said sweetly. I thanked her and I left to find room 349. After getting lost probably around four times, I found the hallway that contained to rooms between 300 and 370. I walked through the almost empty corridor until I found room with "349" on the wooden door with a do not disturb sign.

I knocked on the door but no one came to answer the door. My first instinct was to break the door down but I didn't want to bring Peter and Ned into trouble. I knocked once more and seconds later, I heard footsteps and then a lot of whispers.

"Guys, just open the damn door," I said impatiently. Peter opened the door to unveil their small hotel room.

"I can explain," he said nervously. I went to enter but Peter blocked me off.

"Um- Ned is changing," he told me.

"Changing what?"

"Into his pajamas." I heard some shifting in the back. Peter and I were really close to each other and it sort of felt like a battle of some sort.

"Interesting," I said before I forced myself into their room. Ned stood still, fully shocked and Peter got more nervous. The room looked messy and unkempt although I thought I would find something shocking in their room.

"Oh. Hi, Olivia," said Ned, waving to me.

"What are you guys doing here?" I asked slightly irritated as Peter walked next to me.

"We're here for the decathlon," he said. I didn't believe him one bit.

"Oh, really?" I asked innocently.

"Yeah, Peter changed his mind about it," said Ned. I walked towards Ned and looked him straight in the eyes. I swiftly opened one of the desk's drawers to reveal Peter's suit showing the interior wires. I gasped silently.

"You're tampering with the suit?" I asked as I took it out.

"Um- no. We just removed the tracker," said Ned.

"Ned..." whispered Peter.

"Why would you need to remove the tracker?" I asked angrily as I held the suit in my hands. Neither of them responded.

"You two are going to tell me the truth and you're going to tell it to me now," I said, turing back to them both.

"We came here 'cos we found bird guy's lair," Peter said.

"Why didn't you tell me?" I asked fumingly.

"I didn't want you to get hurt if we came in contact with him."

"Peter, I'm capable of being responsible of myself and of yourself. Do you know how many times I've saved your ass? "

"I'm sorry, okay? I was just worried I would be draging you into something that would-," he paused, "I don't know."

"Well, since I'm here I guess I can help," I said, raising my eyebrows.
