I looked at my arm and saw I was shot in my arm. I covered the wound with my hand. Keandra pulled out her gun and shot back at the gunman. The gunman shot back and I felt another sharp pain in my arm again. I was shot again and this time I screamed.

Everything happened so fast that Keandra was still shooting but ran backwards to me and pulled me to the back of the car.

Once she did that. The shooting ended and I could hear the car speeding away. She looked down at my arm and cussed. She quickly opened the trunk and reached for a bag. Just as she was about to unzipped it.

We heard a car screeching. She carefully got up to look.
"Oh shit Licia. We gotta make a run for it. That car is coming back."

Next to the road was a forest and she  carefully lifted me up and made a run for it.

It must've the adreniline because I ran like it was no tomorrow.

I couldn't see anything and with that I think I tripped over a root sticking out of the ground but luckily I fell on my right arm.

But that caused Keandra to fall over me and all of the sudden I felt some grabbed me by my legs and started puliing me back. I screamed cos my arm started paining real bad.

I then just felt something and the next thing I saw Keandra jump over and kicked whoever was pulling me in the face.

The person fell over and hit his head on a rock and I cringed when I head a deafening crack to the head. Keandra kept kicking and stumping on him where she could.

This is why I don't mess with Keandra because Keandra has an alterego called Kenny and Kenny don't play. Kenny is light on the feet and knows how to fight.

Keandra's dad was in the marines and when he was done he went became a park ranger. So he taught her how to fight and how to live and survive in the wild. I am really in good hands.

Once she felt he was unconscience or (dead) enough for her. She pulled me up and piggybacked. It was uncomfortable because her bag was on her back but I wasn't complaining she knows what's she's doing.

"We gotta run. I don't know if he was alone." She explained and just started running.

She just kept running and didn't stop until we got to a clearing. She looked up at the sky and I guess she was looking at the position and stars.

"The nearest town is west." She looked at me and walked over to the nearest tree. She got down and carefully realised me from her.

The moon was shining bright and created enough light for her to see the damage I heard. We couldn't see it earlier because the trees were blocking the light.

When she turned around she gasped.

She had a worried look on her face, "oh shit Licia this is bad. If they come across the car. They gonna think someone's dead. But I'ma prove them wrong. I gotta take care of this."

"How bad you hurting?" She asked.

"It's burning. I think the bone is broken. I can't move it." I answered.

She nodded and sighed heavily. I guess to compose herself. She nodded and opened her bag. She got out her swiss knife and I shook my head.

"I have to get those bullets out Alicia. You bled too much." She explained but I kept shaking my head.

"It's full moon but the light aint that strong for you to do this. Please do it tomorrow morning." I pleaded.

She glared at me, "fine I'll do it tomorrow morning."
