Amonth has passed since this incident luckily the nurses caught Maddyat the right time was able to stop the bleeding, stitched up the deepwounds and put her drips back in; her life had been saved but notwithout the mental and physical scarring that it had all left onMaddy. Half of Maddy's face was purples and reds from internalbleeding in the face, her arms were scared with the words she carvedinto them,she had a scar running from just below her neck down to herstomach and finally her legs and feet were patchy with the samecolouring as her face from again internal bleeding. The doctors broketo her that these scars may never go away that what she did was astupid thing and these scars are a consequence to these.
For many nights to follow she stayed curled up in her own bed at home sherefused to go to school; she refused to allow people to see her inthis state. The day came when she knew it was time to get up andcarry on to allow people to see what had happened as this was herpast now and this is how people will see her.
