Maddy had kept her promise that day she never spoke to Charlie again. She buckled up and passed her Uni course with a 1st degree and got her dream job working as a diver working in a marine aquarium; working with a range of different species interacting and feeding them daily. This is where she really wanted to be working with these guys being able to do research and conservation work on each species; as well as working directly with them in the tanks.
Maddy's life had also had one more good thing happen after she had left Uni and started this job. She met a young gentleman only two years older than her; he was in the same field of work as her but with land animals, he did conservation with a zoo close to where they both lived. They had been dating around four years and moved into an apartment together. He proposed to her and they were due to be married in the August of the next year.
