A game of love // KaiMaki

Telling everyone

Maki was a nervous wreck driving to school today, today she was gonna tell all her friends the truth, That she was in love with Kaito, was she scared, Terrified, but did she wanna tell them? Of course

Once she pulled into the parking lot, it took every bit of courage she had to even get out of the car

She slowly walked into the school, as she approached her locker she saw Kaede standing there happily

"Morning Maki!" She chirped

"Morning Kaede" Maki replied

After getting her stuff she watched Kaede walk off, she noticed Rantaro and walked over

"Hey Rantaro" Maki said getting her friends attention

"Hey Maki! What's up?" He questioned

"I took your advice and listened to what he had to say, and I'm gonna tell everyone at lunch today"

Rantaro got a happy look on his face "I'm glad! I can tell you're nervous, don't be, if everyone loves you as much as I do, then they'll understand! If they didn't what kind of friends would they be?"

"You're right, thanks, I should get to class, see you third period?"

"Yep Bye Maki!" Rantaro said as Maki turned and walked off to her class

After the morning classes like always Maki went back to her locker, after putting her stuff away she turned to see Kaito

"Hey"

"Hey!" She smiled

"I told my friends"

"What do they think?" Maki asked nervously

"They'll get over it" Kaito responded "Kiibo's Fine with it, But I didn't really worry about him he's cool with everything" He added

"Have you told yours yet?"

"Nope, but I'm about to, wish me luck?" Maki replied

"Good luck, I'll be in the court yard so come tell me how it went when you're done?" Kaito responded

"Yep" Maki replied "K I should go, see you in a bit" she smiled before running off to the Cafeteria

She sat down in her normal spot waiting for all of her friends to get there, holding it off as long as possible, she was so nervous she could throw up

A few minutes after everyone was sitting down Rantaro spoke up "Maki don't you have something to tell us?" Rantaro asked to get Maki to speak up

Everyone looked confused and looked at Maki "right, uh could I say something quick guys?" Maki asked

"Of course! What's up Maki?" Kaede asked

"Well um, it's just, I um, um, I- I—"

"Go on Maki" Rantaro said encouragingly

"Maki are you okay? You look like you're about to throw up?!" Kirumi said worried

"Yeah.. Maki you don't look so good are you okay?" Tsumugi asked getting a worried look on her face

Maki nodded "I— uh, um" Maki stopped and took a deep breath

"You know that bet right..?"

Everyone except Rantaro nodded since he already knew

"Well.., um what I told you about the other day wasn't exactly true.., I didn't actually win.. and I, didn't lose either"

Kaede started shaking her head confused "Maki what are you saying?"
