The final tests for my initiates have commenced, and Eric and I now have to do evaluations for the final rankings. But Eric says that he is 'busy', so I ask Tobias to help me. We never got to talk about some things earlier in the week, so I guess it's a good time. He comes over to my place, and we run over the initiates, their times, and their overall performance in Dauntless initiation. We come up with the final ranking board:

1)Tris 2)Uriah 3)Lukas 4)Lynn 5)Will 6)Peter 7)Sarah 8)Noah 9)Christina 10)Andrew 11)Marlene 12)Ethan

——————————————————————————

13)Drew 14)Molly 15)Nick

If Drew didn't attack Tris, he would have likely been safe, but I will not let that go unnoticed like Max did. Al committed suicide the night Tobias, Eric and I had our heated discussion, and as much as it still haunts me, I knew he wasn't going to make it in Dauntless. First off, he was terrified going through his sims, and had one of the worst times; not to mention, he didn't do overly well in Stage One and Two either. Secondly, he attacked Tris, and as I said for Drew, it will not go unnoticed. I am not saying it was right for him to die, but he knew he would end up factionless otherwise.

As for Peter, all I could do was drop his ranking a couple spots. Max wouldn't allow me to kick him out, and all the leaders couldn't have me throwing out one of their top initiates.

"I haven't been able to figure out any more regarding the war, Tobias. Have you seen anything?" I ask, and he nods.

"I saw some Dauntless and Erudite preparing this morning before tests. They were unloading a lot of needles and vials. I managed to get a hold of one of the vials, but I don't recognize the colour. Tris and I watched them for awhile, before she had to go to her test. We saw Eric there." Tobias says, and I nod sadly.

"I know. They're using sims to control a Dauntless army, Tobias. They're going to take over Abnegation, and eliminate the Divergent while they're at it. Tobias, they're going to kill all four of us, they will find out, because we will be above the serum. That is what they want. What are we going to do?! My baby, Tobias, my baby." I whisper, clutching my ever-growing stomach.

"Arielle, calm down. You and Uriah are going to leave tonight." Tobias blurts out, and my eyes widen substantially. "Tris and I have talked, and we know Amity is being the middle ground in this violence. They are not fighting, nor are they supporting any of the factions. You and Uriah will go there and wait for us. Tris and I will meet you there, and we will figure it all out from there. Okay?" Tobias asks, and I stare at him in disbelief.

"I have to leave Eric behind, don't I?" I ask quietly, and Tobias looks at me sadly.

"Yes. He doesn't know what we are, and you would risk exposing us, or getting us killed, by bringing him. This way, we are all safe, including your baby." Tobias tells me, knowing the comment about my baby's safety will sway my decision greatly.

"Okay, where am I meeting Uriah?"

**MATURE CONTENT AHEAD**

After the dinner and festivities for the new Dauntless members, I make my way back to my apartment, hopefully to see Eric. We have some stuff to take care of before I leave tonight.

Uriah, Tris, Tobias, and I went to a secluded, camera-less part along the Chasm to talk. I am meeting Uriah by the train tracks at two o'clock in the morning, when everyone is asleep, and from there we will take the train all the way to the end. After that, we walk, or run, to Amity. Uriah and I both don't want to leave our families, but in a way, we're protecting them, well, Uriah's family anyway. They could be killed for associating with a Divergent, even if it was an unknown fact to them.

I walk into the apartment, and I see Eric's boots at the door. I remove my own, and make my way to the bedroom, where Eric is changing. Currently, he is shirtless and facing the bedroom body mirror, showing me his beautiful torso. I walk up behind him, wrapping my arms around him and letting my fingers dance across his torso.

"Arielle, tonight isn't the night-" Eric says, turning to face me, but before he says anymore, I press my lips against his, kissing him like it's the last time. Which it could very well be.

His hands run down my sides, pulling off my zip-up hoodie, leaving me in my black tights and a black muscle top. His fingers brush under my shirt, caressing the skin beneath, making me moan quietly. The heat and callous from his fingers send my body into a fit of shivers.

His hands go past my baby bump, all the way down to my butt, making me leap into his arms. Before we kiss again, I pull off my tank top, revealing me in a black lacy bra. He kisses the exposed parts of my breasts, and I thread my fingers into his hair, holding on tight.

We make it to the bed with a lustful haste, during which we shed all of our clothes. Eric continues to kiss and love my breasts, making me gasp and moan his name. His lips go lower, to where our baby is growing, and he kisses it all over.

"My little one." He whispers, making me giggle. His hands dance across my swollen belly, that still looks like it's just bloated, and he presses kisses to every piece of my skin. "Our beautiful little baby, that's going to look just like its momma." Eric whispers, and I smile fondly at him. Never have I seen Eric this soft and affectionate, and I will never ever forget it.

As soon as he has given enough love to our baby, his lips go even lower, to in between my legs.

His tongue begins to dance across the most sensitive part of the female anatomy, making me scream. My fingers find his hair, and every time his tongue works it's magic, I pull his hair. He growls every time, and the vibrations of the sound send me into another wave of pleasure and euphoria.

Just before I am about to find my release, Eric stops, making me whimper. But I see Eric rising above me, preparing to enter me. My heart rate sky rockets, and I begin almost panting in anticipation.

My need for Eric is growing exponentially when he thrusts into me, making me cry out at the contact. Eric's lips find mine, and he begins the heavenly steady motion that always sends me over the edge.

"Fuck, baby, ahh." Eric says into my neck, and my nails are running all over his back, itching for the release.

"Eric, oh god, I'm almost there baby." I pant, and I am just falling off that ledge of immense happiness and pleasure when I hear Eric scream my name.

Both of us are stuck in the trance of bliss and wonder for a few moments, before Eric lies down beside me, peppering my skin with little butterfly kisses.

"I love you, Arielle, so much." Eric whispers. I move my head and body to lie atop his, where I find to be the most comfortable place.

"I love you Eric, to the moon and back."

And as I lay in our bed, I remind myself, reluctantly and with a heavy heart, that this could very well be my last night in Eric's arms.

The last thing I hear is the steady pace of Eric's heart beat beneath my head.
