Jayden

After the allstar game we return to Chicago with a little bit of a break. And as fate would have it, this Tuesday I release my album and it was a off day. So after pulling a few strings and begging Tyler for a month straight, we got permission to hold the get together at the friendly confines. A little bit bigger than I would have thought, but hey. A hitters gotta swing sometimes.

So I change into a long blue maternity dress to go over my little baby bump and some sandals since my ankles started to swell already. I straighten my hair so it's easier to deal with and just do light makeup since it was so sunny today.

I walk out of the bedroom and find Kris on the couch. I lay down next to him and rest my head in his lap. He smiles down at me as he runs his fingers through my my hair.

"How are we feeling today" he asks.

"We're feeling excited" I smile.

"That's good" he admits. Jay hops up with us and tries his best to fit in with us.

"We're going to need to get him a bigger place. The poor puppy barley fits in his bed" I coo as I scratch behind his ear.

"I have been looking at some houses" he admits and I turn to him.

"When were you planning on telling me that" I ask.

"Whenever it came up. Like now" he claims.

"Well what did you have in mind" I wonder.

"Something small, someplace where we have enough space but we are still forced to be together. I want a pool, there has to be a pool. Even though I always get burned I want to go out and play with the kids in the pool. It should be in a nice neighborhood where we can be unbothered. Somewhere close to a good school and neighbors we can drops the kids off at when we want alone time" he lists off.

"That's sounds real nice" I sigh dreamily. "Have you found anything yet" I question.

"Nothing for sure. I've found a few I like, and each house has its own perks, but nothing that sticks out" he says.

"So do we need to turn the spare into a nursery or should we wait and just make one at a house" I ask.

"I don't really see us raising a family here" he admits.

"Me neither" I agree.

"So let's keep looking until we find a place perfect for us... and the dog" he laughs petting Jay's head. He was so freaking cuddly, I love him.

After a lot of convincing Kris gets me up off the couch and we head over to the field. The fans were allowed in later but for right now it was just friends and families. All the guys and their families were invited to come out and take pictures and enjoy some snacks. It was a album release party but it was still a party.

We get there and everything was set up. This has been planned for some time so there wasn't much I had to do. Just show up and have a good time.

Eventually the fans were allowed to come in and watch/listen to the new album for the first time. Tickets we free and first come first serve. It was almost like a concert but it wasn't live. We were just playing the visual album on the Jumbotron so people can get a first look at it. It was hard getting all the music videos in on time and I was definitely pregnant in some of them but they still turned out nice.

We wait for the sun to go down to get it started. The stadium was full beyond capacity as people were standing in the tunnels and isles waiting to watch me. Kinda crazy, isn't it?

I grab Kris and Tyler and head up to the stage on the field. I grab a microphone and tap it to get peoples attention. Once they noticed the show was about to start they get really loud. I smile big as I look around at the over 40,000 people here to hear me sing.

"Hey everybody, I just wanted to say thanks for coming out tonight" I start. "Your support means the world to me and I am so happy to call this city my home. I couldn't imagine starting anywhere else. I really do have the best fans in the world and I love each and every one of you" I insist. "This album is a bit different for me. It was harder than the first one, that is for sure. These songs were a little painful at times and lovely at other times. But each song means something special to me and I hope they can mean something special to you too. I wrote this message with the hope that it can help you as it has helped me. So here is a visual and audio representation of my new album, Tough Times Never Last. Thank you" I wave.

I set the mic down and we walk off the stage. We find our seats for the night and plop down. Kris pulls me into his chest as the videos start up on the screen. People start to cheer as I come up there. It was the first song in the album and kinda my transduction song from the first album to this one. Kris was in this one too, but this is the only one.

This song was about us finally getting together after those long three months last summer. About us finally being able to be together and what a relief it was. To finally be able to show our love and gratitude for each other. And the music video was super cute. We took clips we made throughout the tour last year and put them together. It was usually just us laughing as Kris made some terrible joke or us at dinner trying something new. My favorite part was us messing around the Eiffel Tower and Manny was having none of it. He hates to admit that he actually loves us.

The last frame was him and I on New Years, right before I got sick. It was a video of our first kiss of 2016 and even though I was really sick in that, I would have never noticed. Because when he was holding me like that I never felt bad, how could I?

"Look" Kris gasps and I stop watching the screen. I look around and see everyone with their phones out and using them as lighters. It looked so insanely cool as they all swayed back and fourth to he song.

"See this... this is what music is all about."
