Chapter One:: Good Girl

"Genasis! get up, it's time for church!" I heard my father's voice yell from outside of my door. I threw the covers from over my body , "I'm up dad!" I yell back. I started my shower as I heard his footsteps leave the door.., I set the shower all the way to hot and stretched my muscles before stepping out of my clothes and into the shower. I showered for about 30 Minutes, humming my favorite gospel song , Break every chain . I made sure to wash my hair before getting out of the shower. I wrapped my hair up and dried my body off, I rubbed my body down in my apple pomegranate lotion and put on deodorant and body spray. I placed on my undergarments and slipped into my peach dress,, I brushed my hair letting it fall into its natural curly state && brushed into a high neat bun. I strapped on my white sandals && looked over at my IPhone 8+ ,, the time Read 9:30 A.M. I grabbed my keys , Phone, bible, charger, headphones and bag before heading out of my room. I saw that my father was already gone and locked the house up,, I got into my blue dodge and headed to church with my gospel music turned low...

Arriving at church I put my earrings and necklace on and got out. 9:50 A.M. right on Time, I Said To myself. I locked my car and headed inside the church. Everyone was getting seated,, I took my usual seat in to front by the stand..

"Good Mawnin Church! God Blessed Each And everyone of Us To See Another day and to praise him! Can I get an Amen!!!" Amens filled the Church as my father spoke "Today! We have a visitor here with sista Dana,, She says her grandson needs gods words && healin!" Everyone turned their heads to where Sister Dana and her grandson, he screamed thug . He had green eyes and tattoos on his face
::After Church::
Church ended at 1:30. My Dad was preaching some good stuff in there..  He always does. ,, He had told me to meet with Sister Dana after the service so I did. I approached her and her grandson respectfully "Hey Sista Dana, how Are You?" I Asked "oh, I'm good Chile! This is my grandson Kyle!" She introduced him and he stared at me, I turned to him with a small smile "Hi Kyle, I'm Genasis. Did you enjoy the service today?" I Asked Him "Yeah, I Did." He Spoke Still staring at me . I began to feel uncomfortable so I Told Sister Dana the Bible study date and went to find my father , I approached him as he was talking to one of the brothers . I waited until he was done talking before speaking "Daddy, Can I Go To The mall with Ayana?" I Asked Referring To My Bestfriend "Yeah, Sweetie. Make sure you're at you're grandma's House Before 7:30 Here" He Spoke seriously "Yes sir" I replied before leaving out of the church and getting into the car. I Connect My Phone To My Bluetooth And Called My Bestfriend "Hey, I'm gonna Change Clothes Then ill be On The way" I told her "Aight Girl. Be careful && Get Off This Phone. Call me when you get to the house!" She responded through the speaker , I hung up the phone & took off in the direction of my house. I pulled into the yard 10 Minutes Later And Got Out locking my doors,, I unlocked the house door and went into my room. I changed into a black and white adidas track suit with my black and white adidas . I locked the doors back and headed to My Bestfriends house . It took me no time to get to her house,, as I pulled into their drive Way she sprinted out of the house looking mad && I had heard yelling before she closed the house door. "Yana , Whats Going On?" I Asked as she got into the car " Mama And CJ goin At it Again About Mama Giving me Money To Go shopping" She explained sadly. CJ was her moms abusive Boyfriend, he would occasionally beat the both of them for something unnecessary. I would let Ayana stay at my place until she felt it was safe to go home . I would do anything for her Even if it meant killing someone, and she knew that. "It's okay yana. How much did she give you?" I questioned "Only 250 dollars" she shrugged "You Know ill give you whatever you Don't Have" I Spoke as I drove towards Lenox mall. "No, it's okay, I won't buy much" She Spoke ,, I shrugged & continued driving

:: 30 Minutes Later::

I pulled into the malls parking lot & Found a parking spot. We hopped out of the car as i locked my door,, "I'm going To Victoria Secret, text Me when your done so we can meet at the door court" I told her and she nodded before running into Forever 21 , i Picked Out 2 PINK jackets, PINK bras, and panties and some leggings. I Paid For My Things And Left Out Of That Store Going Into footlocker,, I bought my dad and myself matching wheat Jordan's and Nike's . Then myself 4 More pairs of shoes ,, I paid and headed towards rainbow. I bought a lot of clothes from there before I got a text from Ayana telling me she was at the food court. I Replied With a Simple Okay, And Went To Put My Things In The car. I locked the car back and headed inside ,, It wasn't long til I bumped into someone and fell onto my butt dropping my phone. I prayed that it wasn't cracked on the front or back,, "my Bad Mama. I wasn't paying attention" a familiar voice said extending his light hand. I grabbed his hand before looking up && he handed me my phone. "You Look Even Better Without Church Clothes" he smirked. I just stared at him in complete shock, he was so sexy now that I really look at him. His Green Eyes, The tattoo above his eyebrow and his plump pink lips 😻. "What's Your Name Again?" He Asked "uh, G-Genasis" I stuttered "Well, Pretty Girl. Lemme Get Yo numba" He Asked While handing me his Black IPhone 8+ "I -Uh, Your Names Kyle Right? Um, Sure" I Stammered Taking His Phone and entering my number saving it under 'Genasis' I Handed It Back as he stared me down again making me uncomfortable once again.

Shots rang through the mall , I got scared for my life and was about to go run and find My Bestfriend But Kyle Grabbed Me. "Lil Ma, Come On!" He Shouted Pulling me through the crowd , "I Need To Find My Bestfriend! Let me Go!!" I Yelled Back "Ain no time babygirl. Get in the car" He Said as we approached a black Bugatti , I shook my head no "get in or Ima Put You In My Damn Self" He Said as screams filled the inside of the mall , I spotted Yana running to the outside and ran to her. "GENASIS !" was The Last Thing I Heard before everything went black.
