Chapter 24: Official?

Jaehee's P.O.V.

Waking up from this unfamiliar room, I roamed my eyes around the environment when I noticed it's interior design is a little dark, like a vampire own this room. Aigoo.. What am I doing here? Maybe I passed out because of fear I felt a while ago.

As I sat up from the bed, massaging my temples. I saw a table with an elegant candle on top of it, a bottle of red wine, two wine glasses and a bouquet of red roses. I furrowed my brows as I looked at it, thinking who could have plan this? I don't know if I should be flattered about this or if I should be scared. I really don't know. I just decided to stand up from the bed, took my coat on the foot of the bed and put it on before I took steps toward the door. Once I opened the door, Kai was the first person I saw.

“Kai?” I said, as I immediately wrapped my arms around his nape and pulled him into an embrace. “Kai. You're here..” I whispered near his ear.

“Wait, wait. Are you okay?” Kai asked, worriedly as he slowly pulled away from the hug then cupped my face with both of his warm hands.

I nodded my head swiftly. “How about you? Are you okay? Did Taemin hurt you?”

“Taemin?” He asked; confused. “Taemin's not here, okay? And he's not gonna hurt you or me. I promise that. Don't worry now.” Kai said, caressing my cheeks.

“But there's a guy.. And I was so scared.. that I—“

“Sorry to scared you Jaehee, but that was me.” Kai smiled widely, as he cutted me off. “I was just going to seduce you but I guess, you got scared. So, I'm sorry.”

“Aigoo, you naughty kid!” I said then hit his forehead with my palm. “You really scared the hell out of me. Don't you know that?”

“Aish!” He said, rubbing his forehead. “I know, I know. That's why I'm apologizing, ain't I?” He said, shooting me his killer-smile. “Forgive me now, okay, kitty?”

What did he say? KITTY?! What am I some kind of pet?

“What did you call me? KITTY?!”

Kai nodded adorably then answered. “Yeah, since you like Hello Kitty that much!” He said, as he burst out laughing.

I like Hello Kitty? Hmmm? .... Wait.. No, Ohhhh! I know what he meant but that! My underwear.. He's teasing me again because of my underwear! Aishh! I really hate you, Kai!

“Ayy! Stay away from me, you pervert!” I shouted, pushing him away from me.

“Just kidding. Chill. Chill.” He said, making me calm down.

I just looked at him with my furrowed brows and said. “What do you want from me, anyway? Tell me so I could leave.”

“Why so serious, kitty?” He smiled. “Let's talk first, okay?” Then he lead me toward the table, I saw the moment I woke up. He pulled the seat a little and offered me to sit. I just looked at him first, raising my left brow but sit as well. He sat on the seat in front of me and smiled again.

The atmosphere is pretty dark yet it's romantic because of this single candle on top of the table, perfect for a date. Slowly Kai handed me the bouquet of red roses I saw a while ago. “For you.” He said, almost whispering.

“Oh, thanks.” I said, as I received the flowers from his hands. “I never know this side of you before.” I said, teasing him a little.

“You like it?” He asked, smiling for the nth time today.

“I love it. Anyway, what's with this house? Looks like it's pretty important for Taemin and you, huh?”

“Yeah, this house means a lot to us because when we all stayed here.. It really feels like a family. We always bond and spend every free time together but when we moved to our current house now, a lot change. Taemin went to Japan then Mom and Dad got a lot busier with their businesses.”

“Oh, so that's why.” I paused, then tapped his cheek. “Don't feel sad.”

He smiled at me as he removed the cork on the wine bottle and poured both of our glasses. “Here. Let's have a drink.” He said, giving me my drink and I took it from him.

“Cheers?”

“Cheers.” And we tossed our drinks.

“Sorry, if I couldn't make a much beautiful surprise for you. It's my first time so I don't know what to do.” He confessed.

“I already told you before, I love it and I appreciate it. I hope we could do this more often.” I said, timidly.

“Of course, we could do this more often if you agreed to be my girlfriend.”

What?! What did he say?! I almost spilled the wine I'm drinking when I heard him spoke.

“Are you okay?” He asked, worriedly.

“Ah yes, yes. Anyway, what did you say?” I asked him, with surprise written on my eyes.

“Hm, I told you if you were—“

“No, before that.” I said, quickly cutting his sentence off.

“I said, we could do this more often if you agreed to be my girlfriend.” He said, smiling then took out rectangular box from his pocket and placed it over the table in front of me.

“Are you serious?” I asked, widening my eyes in shock as I slowly opened the box he gave me.

“I've always been serious about you. Ever since from the start. You should keep that in my mind.” He said, smiling again as I felt the sincerity in his every warm word.

I didn't know how to respond again. He caught me off guard again. I know Kai likes me but I thought he's not that serious before.. And now it hit me again. I'm falling again. I'm falling in love again.

“And what's this necklace about?” I asked as I lifted this swarovski necklace to let see it.

“For you. I want you to keep it. That's shows how much I love you, so I'm hoping you'll love me back.” He said, a little down.

I stood up from seat, walked toward Kai and kneeled in front of him then placed my hand on his knees. “You don't need to hope for me to love you back, I don't know when it all start but I already love you. You should keep that in my mind.” I said, as I lifted my head to see his smiling face then slowly kissed him fully on his lips. I felt him smile in our kiss before he kissed me back. I felt his lips moved in sync with mine as we proceeded kissing. One word could only describe what I feel: Magical~ We both don't want to break apart if it wasn't for in need of air. We were both panting as we broke apart.

“Woah.” Kai said, as we broke apart.

“You succeeded. You finally got WHO you want.” I said, teasing him.

“Yes! And thank you for that! I love you, Jaehee and I'll promise to treat you right and love you truly and faithfully.” Kai said, as I felt his eyes sparkle as he looked at me.

“I love you too, Kai and I'll promise to love you eternally.” I said, shooting him my eye-smile then after that, he pressed his lips into mine, just for a short peck on the lips then we hugged. We hugged each other tightly.
