Chapter 18 - Finale

It's been a year, Shadow and I are twenty-four years old, yesterday I went through the horrible pain of giving birth. A young girl, who I decided to name 'Luna' since her fur was black with white strips, one of her eyes painted with an emerald colour, and the other painted with ruby red. Shadow stared at Luna from afar, not wanting to hurt something so fragile.

"Shadow! Come hold her!" I yell, waving my hand, signalling Shadow to walk over to my bed. Shadow hesitantly wrapped his arms around his new daughter, both of her different coloured eyes looked up at Shadow. It only took Luna a second to realise that this was her father. She has the same smile as me, she used it to get closer to her father.

"She's beautiful..." Shadow says softly. All my friends leave the room, letting Shadow and I have a talk.

"She is..." I sigh, getting rid of the sweat on my forehead.

"Not as beautiful as my rose." Shadow says with a smirk. Last year, after I got over my disease, Shadow couldn't see me hurt anymore, it hurt him to even see a scratch on me. He finally took a step to get closer to me.

"Amy Rose... Will you marry me?" Shadow asked shyly, not sharing eye contact. Speechless, I place both my palms on Shadow's cheeks. I turned Shadow's head, making his eyes meet mine.

"Now, what do you think I'm going to say? Of course I'll marry you." I said, giving Shadow a kiss on the cheek. He smirks and picks me up bridal style.

"Then you'll be mine." Shadow purred, placing his head next to mine.

"And you'll be mine." I replied, as I give him another kiss.

"Momma..." Luna spoke, her eyes pointing to the ground. Shadow and I turned to our daughter who was sitting on the floor. My eyes widen in shock, I pick up Luna off the floor.

"What was that, sweetie?" I ask, excitedly. Shadow places his hand on my shoulder.

"Be gentle." Shadow chuckles.

"Dadda, Momma..." Luna says, slightly laughing. Shadow immediately places his hand over his mouth, turning his head away from shock. Small tears fall onto the floor of our room, I hug Luna, secretly squealing inside.

"Her first words! You Shadow!" I say, doing a little dance with Luna in one arm.

"Now, now, we both heard her trying to say your name first." Shadow says, taking Luna from my arms.

"Sh... Shad...?" Luna says, tilting her head to the side.

"That's right, my name is Shadow, I'm your father." Shadow says, mocking Darth Vader from Star Wars. I giggle at the reference, Luna giggles with me.

"You're going to make a great Dad." I comment. Shadow lifts his head, he blushes.

"You'll be an amazing wife and mother." Shadow complements. I blush lightly, I wrap my arms around Shadow and Luna.

"Hug!" Luna exclaims. Mana and Mephiles suddenly burst into our room, Mana squeals at the sight of my daughter. Mana gently grabs Luna, their eyes meet and Mana immediately falls in love.

"Mephiles! We should get a child!" Mana screams, without thinking about what she said. Shadow, Mephiles and I flinch. Shadow and I start to snicker as Mephiles scratches the back of his head.

"Uh... Mana..." Mephiles mutters. Mana pauses, she started to process what she had said.

"I-I didn't mean now!" Mana stutters.

"So, you want to have a child later?" I ask, Shadow snickers behind me.

"No! I meant... I-I mean... Ugh!" Mana cries, covering her face, flustered. Mephiles wraps his arms around Mana, pulling her close to his chest. Mephiles and Shadow have similar fur, they have a patch of fur on their chest and both part of the chaos region.

"Aren't you two cute." Shadow says sarcastically. Mana glares at Shadow, Mephiles smirks as Shadow scratches the back of his head.

"You guys will make a perfect family." Mana says, poking Luna on the nose.

"She's our girl..." I say, taking Luna back into my arms.

"Hey! Both of you! To the training room! Now!" Charmy yells. Shadow, Mephiles, Mana and I, make our way to the training room, only to see Silver on one knee, proposing to Blaze.

"Silver..." Blaze says, her eyes sparkling with tears. "Yes! Yes, yes, yes!" Blaze shouts, jumping onto Silver.

"Thank god." Silver chuckles. Silver turns to me and Shadow, Shadow puts a thumbs up as Luna claps her hands.

"Congrats!" Shadow yells.

This is the last chapter, I'm thinking of making another story that will continue this, I'll see if I can, but if you're impatient, just vote on this chapter and it will happen.
