      "Interesting... very interesting."

A strange voice rang out inside my head. It seemed to be coming from nowhere and everywhere at the same time. I wanted to look around and find the owner of the voice but it was as dark as midnight no matter where I turned.

"I see your mind, girl. I see the darkness within you. That is all I need."

"Who are you?" The words didn't leave my mouth, but were loud and shaky, as if I had yelled them. "What's going on?"

"It doesn't matter now. You will meet me again, when you need me the most..."

I lurched upward from where I was lying, gasping for air. I looked around the room I was in. Where was I? I couldn't remember anything besides the terrifying voice that had spoke to me only moments ago. The sound of footsteps moved outside of whatever room I was in. Suddenly, the door slid open and I saw a Twi'lek leaning against the door.

"Good morning, or should I say night?"

Ezra's face popped from around the opposite corner."Finally, you're awake!"

I looked up at them, and I must've looked pretty bad, because both of their faces immediately grew with concern.

"Are you okay?" Ezra took a step forward, but the green Twi'lek put an arm in front of him, stopping him.

"You should probably go get Kanan." she said to Ezra, with a stern look in her eyes. Ezra nodded and ran out of the room. The Twi'lek approached where I was lying, and sat on the foot of the bed. "Hi, I'm Hera. I know you are probably very confused, but don't worry, we aren't going to hurt you. You have been unconscious for nearly two days. Do you remember anything from the night we picked you up?"

Memories of that night came flooding back to me. The stormtroopers, then shadowtroopers, the imploder, my ring... MY RING. I searched around frantically, praying I still had it.

Hera, seeing my panic, put a hand on my arm. "It's okay, we have your ring. It's just on the top of the table over there." She nodded her head to a desk across the room, where I could see the faint glint of the purple rock. I lied down again while taking deep breaths, trying to calm down.

She chuckled and said, "Knowing how big of a risk you took to get it back, we weren't about to lose it. It obviously has significant value to you."

Shadows filled the room, as Ezra and Kanan entered, blocking the light from the hallway outside. I looked at their faces and remembered a key detail from that night.

I sat up quickly, my calm that had just arrived quickly fading. "You're really working with Darth Vader, aren't you?"

I looked at Hera, my newfound trust in her already dissolving. I tried to stand up, but I got so dizzy Hera pulled me back down so I wouldn't fall over. "You need food and water, you were unconscious for a long time."

"Why would you think we are working for Darth Vader?" Ezra asked, as I slowly sat back down.

"Your lightsabers. The only other person alive with one is Darth Vader. Well, at least that's what they said in the stories."

"We aren't with him, we are Jedi." Ezra said, as he sat down on the bed across the room.

"Everyone said all the Jedi were destroyed when the Empire was created." I remembered the stories of the Jedi too. I had heard both good and bad tales about them, and I never knew which ones to believe. I had always put my hope into the good ones of course.

"Not all of us." Kanan leaned against the desk. "The Empire killed everyone I knew, but somehow I managed to survive."

"When the Ghost Crew found me, Kanan discovered I had the force, and began to train me as a Jedi." Ezra looked at Kanan as he spoke, a funny expression on his face. I could tell there was a lot more to the story, but I was too tired to ask.

"So the Jedi were good? I knew it. I have never seen a lightsaber in person, but I have in holovideos, and people have described them to me." My stomach growled, and I felt sore from the hunger. "Could we continue this discussion while I eat something, and get something to drink? I still feel like I'm going to pass out again."

Right on cue, a droid appeared holding a tray with a glass of water, and some fruit. It gave me some angry beeps as it threw the tray on my lap, and sped out of the room. The young woman with colorful hair appeared in the doorway and said, "That's Chopper and he said, 'He's not your servant, but he is only doing it this time to make Hera happy.' "

She turned around and entered, what I assumed to be, her room.

"Don't take it personally. That's just how Chop and Sabine are. They are still rude to me." Ezra said after making sure she had shut her door.

I grabbed the glass of water and gulped it down in seconds. Next, I began to chomp on the fruit. I swallowed and said, "This is the best fruit I have had in ages. Thank you, by the way." I wasn't sure who to thank in particular, but Hera responded.

"No problem. You keep refueling. You're going to need it for your next conversation." She stood up and walked out of the room. Before she turned the corner however, she wished me good luck. That wasn't a good sign.

"Bria? I know Hera already asked you, but do you remember any other details from that night?" Ezra asked. It almost seemed as though he was nervous.

I went back to the night in my mind. "I remember the stormtroopers, going for my ring, and an imploder going off. That's basically it."

Kanan seemed to glance at Ezra, though he still had the mask on. "Bria..."

I stopped eating my food when Ezra hesitated, and Kanan pulled a holodevice out from his pocket.

"Really? Another one of these things?" I joked, but Ezra turned to me with a serious expression.

         "Watch."

The video popped up, and it showed the hangar we had been in. I was on the ground, but my arm was bent, palm closed into a fist.  I didn't remember doing that. The imploder was frozen in the troopers hand. Then I quickly opened my palm, pushing my arm forward. All of the troopers immediately flew backwards, and the imploder went off above them, covering them in the explosion.

"Hmmm. You have a lot of strength, for someone so young."
