"Why don't you guys come inside so we can discuss this situation further? I'm sure you're all cold. Well, except for Loki," the girl said as she began to walk into the two story cabin. She opened the door and held it to let the Avengers come in. She led them into her living room.
Since it was a log cabin, the walls were all made of wood. Though this cabin was more modern than most cabins. It was neatly cleaned and it was well-decorated, and it almost looked like one of those homes you only see in catalogs. The three red couches in the middle of the room all sat in a square formation, minus one side of the square. The entertainment center had a rather large flat screen TV on it, and the entertainment center was build around a fire place that was directly underneath the TV. (y/n) walked over to a lamp that stood in the far corner and switched it on, and she also opened the curtains to let in more light. She turned back around to face the Avengers and gave them a smile.
"Make yourselves at home. I know it's not big and extravagant like Stark tower, but I've got enough couch space for all of you. I'll go make some hot chocolate for everyone," the girl said and left the room.
"I can't believe we're in a different dimension," Steve huffed angrily, glancing over at Tony. Obviously, he still blamed Tony for the whole debacle they were currently in.
"I wonder how different this Earth is compared to ours," Tony hummed in thought as he observed the room. Steve gave him a death glare. He was furious with Tony for being so calm about the whole situation.
Loki backed up into the corner quietly, trying to stay out of the situation as much as possible. This whole time he hadn't shown any emotion, but deep down he was feeling perplexed. That Midgardian lady made a comment about Loki not being bothered by the snow. The girl knew he was a Frost Giant. How did she know that? He never met the girl in his life. Obviously Thor knew that Loki was not from Asgard, but he was sure that even the Avengers had no idea he was actually a Jotun and not an Asgardian.
The girl came back with a tray of mugs, each one having a light steam coming out of the top. She set the tray on the coffee table and let them grab a mug. Loki didn't bother to come over and grab one, but everyone else gladly took one. They all found themselves shivering (minus Loki, obviously).
"Thank you, sweet maiden. Pardon me, kind lady, but what is your name?" Thor asked as he grabbed a mug and smelled the alien drink. He had never had hot chocolate before, but it sounded pleasant.
"My name is (y/n). (y/n) (l/n)," she said with a smile.
"Have you calmed down now? Are you feeling okay?" Steve asked.
"Yeah," she sighed before taking a sip of her hot chocolate, "I'm fine now. Now that I know how you guys got here, the whole situation is easier to swallow. Though I'm still in awe of everything."
"This is a nice cabin. Do you own this?" Bruce complimented the house, looking around in approval.
"Well, I currently own it. It was my parent's, but they passed away a few years ago. They gave me this cabin in their will," she said as memories of her parents flooded her mind. She smiled, reminiscing of all the good things about her parents.
"But that's a whole story I'd rather not get into at this time, if that's fine with you guys."
"Sorry, I didn't mean to hurt or offend you," Banner apologized.
"It's okay, you didn't know," she replied, weakly smiling at him, "Besides, this happened a few years ago. It's come and gone, and I've had some time to calm myself down and regain my mental health and whatnot."
After a rather awkward moment of silence, Tony spoke up.
"So let me see if I got this right: in this world, we are considered fictional characters from movies, right?"
