Thor made no haste as soon as he left. He went straight for the throne room to propose his idea to Odin. He knew in the back of his mind that the king could easily turn him down, but Thor was feeling rather confident.

Thor stared the throne room doors towering in front of him. He was feeling slightly less confident than before, but he continued to walk with his head held high. He took a deep breath and entered through the doors.

He made his way past a line of guards on both sides of him. As he past, they each got down on one knee. Odin stared straight at Thor, and Thor stared back with a rather cocky smirk.

Thor got to the front of the throne. He got down on one knee and bowed his head.

"My son," Odin greeted him. Thor took this as permission to look up at him as he sat up straight in his golden throne.

"Father, I have come with a request," Thor began, his smirk disappearing as he spoke.

"What is this request of yours?"

"I would like to have a large feast for my Midgardian friends who helped me save the land known as New York," Thor spoke as he looked at Odin to attempt to read his emotions. Thor did know that Odin wasn't exactly fond of midgardians, but Odin's facial expression seemed somehow promising.

"That sounds like a wonderful idea," Odin pondered, putting his hand to his chin.

"But, I would like to have Loki join us," once the sentence left Thor's mouth, Odin's soft expression went serious.

"And why is this?" Odin hummed thoughtfully.

"Loki needs to make amends for the trouble he caused Midgard. I swear to you that I will keep a close watch on him at all times. If it would make you feel better, I could even keep him bound as we travel," Thor said as he maintained eye contact with his father. Odin seemed unsure, but he didn't immediately turn the idea down. That's the one thing Thor was waiting for, but it didn't happen.

"Hm... As long as you swear to me that you keep a close watch on him. You can keep him bound if you feel the need for extra assurance, but I trust that you will follow through on your word," Odin finally answered after a short pause. Thor smiled, unable to contain his happiness.

"Thank you very much father. I will make sure he remains in line," Thor thanked Odin as he got up to leave. He had some trouble keeping a straight face, and he left the throne room with a large smile.
