" Nothing prepared me for what the privilege of being yours would do: If I had only felt the warmth within your touch, If I had only seen how you smile when you blush, or how you curl your lip when you concentrate enough, I would have known what I was living for," He pauses for a moment. The mesmerizing combination of his blue and green eyes catches sight of my ordinary brown eyes. He stares so intently at me, that I almost mistake the admiration for seriousness.
" Your love is my turning page where only the sweetest words remain. Every kiss is a cursive line, every touch is a redefining phrase. I surrender who I've been for who you are, for nothing makes me stronger than your fragile heart" He says. His words are like poetry to my soul and I can't help but to crave more of his poetic thoughts.
" You got that from a song" I chuckle lightly. Amusement clearly dancing in my voice.
He's still holding onto my small frame tightly in his embrace, as if he's protecting my very existence with his own life.
" Well I guess you forcing me to watch those god awful twilight movies made me find an interest in just a particular song that I've grown to like"
I laugh wholeheartedly as the memories from that night invade my mind. It feels like a lifetime ago that night. So much has changed between us in such a short period of time. We were no longer distant strangers struggling to coexist in a world together, we were no longer broken from both of our pasts, but - instead we were reborn into something more.
A whole. A team. One.
" Turning page" I whisper the name of the song merely to myself.
" You are my turning page serenity. I love you sweet creature" Kai whispers in my ear.
His words will forever be comforting to me, because I know that even after this life, I will make it my mission to find my way back to him in another life. Because in this life I can admit that Kai Carson is the very best parts of myself. He is the parts of me that has no fear, the parts of me that is confident and courageous. The parts that overlook the unfortunate things in life and seek the good - So when I say:
"I love you too" I know I truly mean those words with all of my beating heart.
I will love you forever Kai - because even in death my heart will always beat for you.
