The truth part two

The night seemed to drag on as Skyler and who she thought was her mother sat quietly behind some bushes as their cover. The atmosphere was silent but steady and neither of them could speak until." Lyra....what we're the fire soilders after?". Skyler asked polightly, her eyes still staring at the earth. Lyra took a deep breath before beginning to speak." Well, according to an old legend our world was created to be peaceful and it was as the four nations were carefully balanced and each had there own part to play. As time went on this was what it was like for hundreds of years. However this peace was not meant to last as one day a shadow began to hover over our lands bringing an untold evil. This evil was Queen Darkrina; Queen Darkrina was the only Elemental who was thought to control all of the elements but her greed for power grew stronger and instead of helping our world she began to slowly destroy it, with despair and evil. But, legend speaks of a girl who would one day be born with an extraordinary ability, to control the rare Element of ice". She explained. Skyler looked at her with great disbelief." Me.....so I'm what they were looking for all those years ago?". She said her voice under better control.Lyra nodded." But why?". Skyler added. "Because your the only one with this gift and therefore the only one strong enough to defeat the Queen. Skyler listen to me carefully you need to travel across the boarders to the great oak forest if you can make it there without been discovered you have a chance!". Lyra said strongly." But you must learn to harness your power and control it your our only hope". She said confidently. Skyler said nothing as it was too much for her to take in her fac was now a pale colour and her eyes seemed to be brighter. Suddenly a loud crack of a branch broke behind them Lyra instantly turned to the direction of its brake. "Skyler back away very slowly". She whispered over her shoulder. Skyler did not hesitate to follow he instructions. Then two men appeared in front of them their faces red with rage as they drew closer to Lyra and Skyler." Run......Run!". Lyra shouted the pair bolted round and once again began to run to safety. Branches snapped leaves shook as there footsteps were sharp on the earth floor. Skyler was in front in which case had more chance of not falling behind. The chase carried on for a while as each of them kept good pace. However tonight would be one of their last.

A long while later Skyler and Lyra had outrun the soilders and they stopped to catch their breath. Dawn was now beginning to rise on a new day and also a new chapter in Skylers life.

The sky was a dark gray almost black colour as the sound of thunder clashed through the clouds. The lightning flashed in the sky lighting up the Moody dark clouds.Thenslight rain drops fell upon the earth as time passed by the rain became more hard on it's impact with the leaves on the trees. Skyler and Lyra sat ontop of an old fallen oak tree;it's branches lay deadon the earth floor and it's bark was beginning to peel the colour was a filthy brown but this didnt appear to matter as Skyler and Lyra had bigger problems of their own.....

The atmosphere was silent but then a loud disturbence happened from behind them.Lyra and Skyler once again leaped to there feet both their eyes began to scan the area surrounding them. As before the two men appeared each of themholding a bow and arrow in their hands. Skyler froze, her body stiff like a tree. Lyra nudged he ron the arm giving her the signal to run for it!. Quick as a flash Skyler sprinted with Lyra right behind her. But then a loud yelp escaped into the atmosphere as Skyler turned she saw Lyra looking down to reveal a large arrow that had pirced her chest she then looked up to see Skyler with a shocking expression on her face."Nooooooo!".Skyler shouted in horror as fresh tears started to whel up in her eyes.She then bolted round knowing what she had to do and ran as quick as she could and as fast as she could. Her breaths were fast but still she kept them steady despite her situation.

the two men were now right on her trail running and gaing on her she looked back over her shoulder checking if they were still there. Then a large thump took place as Skyler tripped and fell over tumberling repeatingly over herself as she rolled endlessly down a hill. When finaly at the bottom she tried to pull herself up but found a large cut on her right leg.She gasped quitely but painfuly at the sight. Suddenly the men were above her standing on a ledge each with a slight grin on their faces.Skylers eyes widened with shock as the men drew closer by every second. Itseemed to be over for Skylerbut then, a loud thunder like noise also made it's way to them, but what they saw took them all by surprise. A large and high wave came out of nowhere and swept the men away from Skyler. Skyler watched in amazement as it did just moments later it was all over and Skyler was alone at least that's what she thought. Afterwards a young girl appeared in front of Skylers; The girl had long brown hair with a blue pendant necklace with a wave charm on the end. She immediately rushed over to her and knelt down to where her wound was. "Who are you?". Skyler asked nervously. It didn't however take long before Skyler recognized her. It was Luna!. Luna raised her hand over Skylers wound then a blue glow appeared then water began to flow from her parlm. And soon her injury started to heal closing slowly." Luna, where did you come from?". Skyler added however Luna didn't reply as she was too busy seeing to Skylers wound. Eventually her wound had healed." Thank you Luna". Skyler said grateful. Luna smiled sweetly." Don't mention it". She replied." If you don't mind me asking, how did you escape, from the village?".

Luna gave her a slight look before speaking." I just heard a strange noise got up saw the soilders and just ran down stairs opened the door and ran as fast as I could". She said calmly her deep sea eyes gazed into Skylers. "What we're you doing out here anyway?". Luna asked, her voice suspicious. "Lyra is dead, she was killed, trying to protect me, now I have to make my way across the four boarders to the Queen and stop her.....". Skyler replied. "Ok, then I'm coming with you!". Luna blurted joyfully. Skyler gave her a confused look but Luna didn't seem to be bothered." Luna this is something I need to do, I don't want you getting hurt". Skyler said in a caring tone but like before Luna didn't even bother. "Hav you controlled your Element yet!". She said, once again Skyler looked at her in confusion." No, not yet I can't well I...". Skyler stumbled, but then as she raised her hands to Luna a white glow emerged from her parlms, then her skin turned pale like snow." It's happening!". Luna said her hands on her mouth. Skylers whole body then began to turn white and her eyes got brighter and brighter." Don't fight it Sky!". Luna encouraged. Within seconds it was over and Skyler had now returned back to normal. The wind picked up as the white light began to fade.
