Silver Lake/ The Elemental Phoenixs

As the four sat within the temple Luna smiled at the sight of the sun vanishing and smiled even bigger when she saw the stars abouve them each one seeming to shine brighter than the other. "Hey,whats your name?".Skyler asked the mysterious boy who was at the time lighting a fire to keep them warm."Oh I apologize i'm Carlem". He said shaking Skylers hand pleasently. They each smiled at their greeting,they then gathered around the fire and sat carlmly. Luna was sat beside Tide and Skyler was sat nexto Carlem."Years ago, the Queen was well,she had scattered her soilders around the boarders trying to find what they call 'The Hope'. They searched endlessly searching every boarder to find it. Eventualy they didnt suceed the Queen was furious and in return she had all of the boarders on lockdown,the people were trapped but they just hoped for the girl to be born,you see.The legend told of a girl who would one day be born with an untameable force of nature,a powerful Element one that the Queen cannot control,and one that she fears. As a threat to the throne the Queen sent all of her soilders once agian years later to find the girl, still they did not suceed, I myself thought the legends and stories were not true,that is until I met you in person.You say you are seeking the Queens Palace, the Palace is located just two days from her mabey a day if you keep up".He said.Skylers face turned into an icy pale colour as she began to realize that she was the one, the girl in the legend. " I,I dont understand, are you saying that I have to defeat the Queen!, but what can I do!".She exclaimed in shock. Carlem turned to face her."As the Hope you will find that ice isnt the only Element that you posses deep inside of you". He replied appearing to answer her question but not fully.Skylers face was bright with confusion."Well, what else can I do?". She asked,Carlem looked at her friends before returning his eyes to Skyler."You have the ability to control not just Ice,but, also light.".He said."What!". Skyler shouted in confusion."You see the Queen cannot control light nor ice,she can only control Erath,Water,Fire,Air and of course the prosise oppistie...Darkness".Skylers eyes widened with terror.Suddenly a loud thunder like crash had exploded into the air."They're here".Carlem said running out of the temple along side Skyler,Luna and Tide. The next thing they knew was the sound of soilders and the bells of war were now upon them. They ran through the village but stopped as Carlem had ran into his friend. An elderly man but a teacher in Carlems eyes." Sir,what's happening?". He spoke uncertainty in his voice the elderly man quickly placed his hands upon Carlems shoulders staring into his eyes." Carmen take your friends and The Hope and get out of the village". He replied firmly. Carlems eyes were now filled with shock but order at the same time." You must get them to Silver Lake and stay there, I will send one of my most trusted friends with you now to guide you there". Afterwards they realized that no man had approached them to lead them away." Sir nobody is coming!". Carlems shouted tying to raise his voice over the loud explosions. "Get out just look and listen to the sky". The elder spoke before running off. Luna huddled in tightly to Tide tears starting to well up in her eyes. "Luna hop on my back". Tide said strongly, seeing no other option Luna did as he ordered. Jumping on his back Carmen lead them through the village to a small exit at the side leading out to a large grassy meadow where from on top they could see all of the fire soilders they had brought huge catapulted which held heavy rocks and boulders within them compared to the Air people they had stronger weapons but with only few soilders of there own it was clear to see that the people of Air will have to surrender. Giving them time Carmen began to run in front of the others leading them away. They ran far from the Air temple but had no idea of where they were heading. All seemed hopeless until. A loud squark sounded in the sky. As they looked up, a bird was flying swiftly over the top of them. Seeing this the gang came to a halt stopping dead in there tracks.

As the seconds past each of the teenagers found themselves crouched in a circle there eyes desperately trying to find what was hovering above them. Eventually they did it was Carmen who had spotted a bird flying and soon began circling them. "Look!" Skyler shouted raising her right arm and pointing at the bird. As the mysterious bird drew closer, the gang could see that it had a rather unusual large wingspan, as its feathers were a cream light colour and its tail, it's rain was a light green grassy type colour. The gang smiled as they each let out a sigh of joy and relief. "Hey Windwing". Carleton said in a pleasant manner." You know it,what is it?!" Luna exclaimed ,her eyes now became full of wonder as they lit like fire with curiosity. "Whoa there please,slow down". Carleton replied in a soft tone, stroking the bird as he did so." This is Windwing, the Air Phoenix,just one of the many types". At the words of Carlem Skylers face screwed up slightly before she stepped forward to be stood beside him." You mean there's more, where are they, I've never seen any of them". Skyler asked. She lifted her parlms to the birds head and began to stroke him gently, the Phoenix let loose in what only could be described as a soft chuckle. Carleton turned to face Skyler and looked at her in amazement as the Phoenix hardly flinched at her actions." Wow, you really don't know anything do you?". He said, Skylers reaction was immediate as she stared at him intensely. "Well, when the world first began the Lord's of the Elements gathered together in order for four magical Guardians to be created,these Guardians were the Phoenixs. Each phoenix was made by its own Lord. Earth by leaves and the soil, Water of course by water, Air was formed with air and Fire,created from a large volcano in the Fire boarders. After each Phoenix was sent to its original boarder to watch over the land and protect it. Although, shortly after there were created, the Lord's all joined as one to create two of the most strongest but the most compelling forces the world has ever seen. Lightning was the first as it had entered its junior Element. In time this phoenix would soon evolve if you will into a Darkness Element. However another bird was also made. This Phoenix was created with your Element Ice and like it's opponent it would soon transform into a light Element both however would still keep their original Element". He explained. Skyler looked at him with ease and made her way back to join the others.

With a few hours the sun was starting to rise but today the sky was dull and grey,floating within it were the pitch black rain clouds along with loud thunder. The gang had set off once more allowing Carlem and Skyler to lead however Luna and Tide were not far behind them." So, how do you know so much about all this I mean all this happened before you were born?". Skyler asked, Carlem hesitated for a moment before turning to face her. "Well as a boy I was taught by my parents and my teacher Rainos". He replied. "Wow". Skyler whispered. Looking up toward the sky only to see the Phoenix hovering over them. "So, Carlem, how old are you?". She asked. "I'm fifteen". He replied to her." Me too,Lunas thirteen although I'm not so sure about Tide he never tells us anything". She spoke quietly at her last words trying to be quite so that Tide would not hear. As they came to an opening in the forest Carlems eye widened as he was caught in gaze with the Silver Lake they had made it. As moments passed everyone could see clear on why it was called Silver Lake as the water was not green nor blue but silver!. Strange some however Luna didn't seem to mind as she joyfully skipped her way down to the water where she began to play with it splashing it around with he hands like an infant. It wasn't silly it was just Luna she loved the feeling of been in water it made her feel relaxed and gave her a sense of peace. Although Tide just chuckled at her and walked off. Leaving Skyler and Carlem by themselves." So Skyler, what we're you going to do when you met with the Queen?". He asked. Skylers cheeks turned a red blush as SH looked away from his charming gaze and his soft voice. "Well I err, I was going to err...". She stuttered Carleton while his head in a wise way before taking he hand and leading her over away from Tide and Luna. He had taken her to a small ledge near the lake where they both sat gazing into the distance." Hey Carleton, why does the Queen hate me so much?". Skyler asked,he has her a confused glance before simply returning his head back into the distance. "Well you see as The Hope you pose a threat to the Queen because of your rare ability to control the three most powerful Elements in the world". "Wait three I thought you said I can control only two". She said interrupting pulling him up about it." Yes you can but due to your ability as The Hope if your fury was pushed even further then, you would probably be able to wield Darkness,like the Queen". He replied,looking her directly in the eyes as he spoke the last sentence. "What!, why didn't you tell me this before?". She said angrily." Because I don't want you to become like the Queen". He replied sharply. The atmosphere was awkward as the minutes passed by." I'm sorry ,it's just, my life has been like a roller coaster and with everything that's happened I don't know what I'm doing from one minute to the next". She said softly, beginning to lower her head Carlem noticed that her eyes were full of sadness and loss with this he slowly moved his hand towards hers placing it ontop. Skyler turned to him slowly as he did this smiling friendly at him. Suddenly the atmosphere was ruined by a loud roar of thunder. Looking at the sky a white flash shooter it's way across lighting up th clouds like a fire. Shortly after rain began to fall on the earth floor and hitting the lake creating a wild heard of ripples. "Oh". Skyler huffed "What's wrong?". Carleton asked sweetly. Skylers eyes met with his as she huddled up to him softly." Oh I just don't like thunder". She whispered. Carleton smiled before smoothly putting his arm around hers and carefully held her against his chest." Get some rest, tomorrow is a new day". He said.
