Water Goodbye

The atmosphere seemed to turn silent with upset as the gang were speechless at Lunas passing, the sky had turned dark as if all the light from the world had vanished, as if it had never existed. Skyler,Carlem and Tide had travelled back to Moonlight Cavin, the gap at the top of the mountain was now glowing illuminating the rest of the cave with its magical rays of the night Sun. The ripples in the pool flowed softly as Skyler and Carlem released their hands from Luna' s deceased body, her skin was now cold and pale, he eyes closed gently, Tide however kept a hold of Lunas body sustaining her he was farther into the water than Skyler and Carlem, Tide toward his head down beside Lunas before whispering sweetly. "Luna, your the most kindest, funniest,most bravest person that I have ever known, I'll never forget the day I met you, you reminded me so much of my sister, that's why I despised you so much when we met, but now I see, the only true reason I ever hated you was...was because I was afraid that if something ever happened to you, that if I couldn't protect you like my sister, I would be nothing but a failure. It'll never forget you Luna, you can finally be at peace now, soon I'll see you again, then we can be together...forever, I love you Luna, I love you". He said, his voice so full of care and sadness but also hope and even more so love. He gave one last long look at Lunas peaceful face before pushing her swiftly, but carefully out into the centre of the pool. She eventually stopped floating, whilst the bright moon above her shone brighter each single second of her lying in its prescence. Then after what seemed like forever, Lunas body began to sink pleasantly down into the water until she couldn't be seen. At that moment the moon had passed and the sky had now returned to normal, only before releasing a loud thunder with a sharp flash of lightning then slight raindrops found there way into the cave splashing gentle into the water creating stunning beautiful ripples as they did. "Its Luna, she's finally at peace, in the water". Skyler said approaching Tide, who was still standing in the centre of th pool, his eyes closed firmly allowing the rain to seep onto him. Carlem also joined them, he too had closed his eyes." You know I can always remember that when Luna said to me ''Our stories are not yet legend, but in them..our bond was struck''. Skyler said, Tide and Carlem both 're-opened their eyes looking at Skyler with respect and truth they then all faced the sky once more. The atmosphere was now quite and full of hope.

The next morning the gang were already up making there way to the North, where the Queens Palace was located , the road was dull and lifeless due to the rain, however the atmosphere was full of upset and loss as the gang was now down to just three without Luna. Tide kept a small distance behind, his head hung low with shame and regret, Skyler noticed this and fell back to walk beside him." Tide, I know you miss Luna we all do, but remember, it wasn't your fault you did everything you could, it was all that you could do". Skyler said placing a pale hand on his shoulder, Tide gazed deep into her eyes, knowing that she was right." Tide we have to keep moving, its what Luna would want". She spoke softly trying to urge him on but Tide still stood, his brown eyes now darkened with sadness. "I feel so alone". He replied lowering his head down even further, Skyler gently forced his chin upwards making him face her, she smiled sweetly." Tide, your not alone, as long as you hold on, as long as you have me Carlem and the memory of Luna, they'll never be alone". She added giving him a friendly hug, Tide hesitated for a moment before tightly hugging her back his eyes were now light once again." Come on, let's go". Skyler said confidently at him. Together they walked off into the distance towards the North where they would find The Palace of Darkness.

Night began to fall the sky was dark and black, allowing only a small glimpse of moonlight into the forest, the gang had settled down beside a small pond, the water blue and lit up from the delicate rays of the night soul. The tree's shifted pleasently with the small gaps of breeze as Skyler and her friends sat at the waters edge, suddenly the atmosphere fell quite, a little too quite for comfort the gang became erie of there surroundings. Suddenly a loud but pleasent screech appeared from the dimly lit sky, next the swift flapping of wings emerged from the silence, the gang immeadiately leaped up and prepared. Then a large shadow of what appeared to be a bird floated down slowly towards them its wings spread far beyond it's body, its feathers a light blue with illuminous purple eyes. It landed beside the pool and seemed to be bowing infront of Skyler before flying onto her shoulder looking directly into her eyes."Luna". Skyler whispered, the bird screeched in agreement before returning to the small pond. "It's Luna's Elemental phoenix, Ripple". Cralem said looking in amazement at the phoenix, studdying it's movements."Luna". Tide said, his tone sad. Suddenly the bird strentched out it's wings once more before glowing brightly, an orb formed infront of it floating softly in the air, then the light began to die down. The gang watched as the orb formed into shape, that of a bird, a smaller bird with unbelieveable bright blue eyes and remarkable light blue feathers, it stood side by side with the phoenix before flying swiftly over to Tide landing firmly on his shoulder, rubbing it's head onto his brown cheek. He smiled stroking the bird ontop of it's head."Luna". He said, the bird screeched happily,Tide too let a warm smile grow on his face."Its Luna". He added, tears filling his eyes."Oh Luna I wish I could have done more to save you, but i'm glad your here now". He said softly. The birds eyes also seemed to be filling with tears it tilted it's head in joy but also sadness. Then the phoenix scwarked and Luna in her bird form began to glow before disapearing, when the light faded she was gone along with the phoenix. The gang stared in shock at the scene, their eyes wide with wonder. Tide loward his head smiling slightly but a happy smile, tears fell smoothly down his face as the scene was back to normal. "Goodbye Luna". He whispered sweetly as if she were right beside him.
