Tide's Secret

Skyler lay motionless on the ground her hair slightly covering her face, her arms were played in front of her as she was positioned on her side,her skin was pale and her eyes were closed. Luna and Tide saw this and instantly rushed over to give her attention. "Skyler,wake up,Skyler!". Luna threated he eyes filled with fear,it took a couple of minutes for Skyler to finally awake but when she did she was greeted with a happy but relieved hug by Luna. Seeing her Skyler also wrapped her arms around her hugging her close. "What happened?". Skyler asked her face overwhelmed by mystery. Luna drew back her hug from Skyler and began helping her to her feet. "You, you reacted". Tide said in a confident voice,both girls turned to face him wondering what he ment." Reacted?". Luna questioned. Tide nodded before speaking again." Yes, Skyler felt overwhelmed by her situation and her Element too snapped, when I was a boy I was told many stories about you, but the one I always remember are the facts, as you grow your Element becomes more stronger and therefore the more you learn about it the stronger you too will also get in time". He explained. Skyler and Luna both seemed shocked at this, as the expression was shown clearly on their faces. Luna then kindly helped Skyler to her feet." Thank you". She said gracefully. With time the trio began to make there way out of the forest. However night was starting to fall and so the three settled and began on making a campfire. After a short while the trio sat on two separated logs, Luna and Skyler on one and Tide on the other. The atmosphere was quite and calm until Luna got the urge to speak." How far are we now, til we cross the boarder?". She said in an unsure voice, Skyler turned to face her, Luna' s eyes were now droopy from lack of sleep as she yawned sweetly. Skyler chuckled at the sight. "We should reach the Air boarders by tomorrow at mid-day if we keep at a steady pace". Tide said confidently, Luna and Skyler both looked at him with surprise, it was rare for him to speak so whenever he did they believed him, also adding that he was indeed an Earth Elemental which ment he knew the land around him well. So with this they decide to go to sleep, their breathes soft and comfortable.

Time seemed to rush by as they slept, the flames from the fire began to die down. However whilst Skyler was sleeping Luna woke, rubbing he eyes as she begun to sit up against the log she looked around at her surroundings. Everything was carm the atmosphere too was also quite. Looking up Luna could see a figure sitting pouches not fat from where she and Skyler were. She hesitated for a moment before slowly starting to stand, once stood Luna walked closer to the figure, her steps low and stealthy amoung the grass. As she drew closer she could see the features of th figure; Brown scary hair , green robes. It was Tide!. He sat scorched on the grass his head facing the distance, his eyes focused on the land." How long have you been awake?". She asked, it took a few seconds for the question to reach him before he turned to face her in a quick glance then turning his head once more to the land in front of him. Luna breathed in quietly, afterwards she began to lower herself down before sitting beside him. "What's wrong?". She asked this time Tide didn't turn to face her, his eyes just lay frozen, as if they were hypnotized. "A long time ago, when I was a child, I lived with my mother and my sister Cleo,we were happy and evrything seemed perfect that was until...it happened, the accident. One day whilst me and Cleo were playing we began to wonder too far from home, when we realized what we were doing it was too late. As we tried to find our way back home a group of fire soilders found us, I told her to run, and after a while we thought we lost them, but we were wrong. And while I was trying to protect her, my sister was killed...." He said. Luna couldn't believe what she was hearing, her eyes widened with shock but also sadness." She was like you, same age, and she always had a smile on her face, always happy". He added. Luna began to smile and placed her arm around Tide as tears began to well up in his eyes.
