Moonlight Cavin

Back at the Dark Forest, the gang were now beginning to worry as they could still not manage to wake Skyler, shortly after she used her Ice fury she had passed out due to exhaustion. They gang were now heading North towards Moonlight Cabin, a carlm, peaceful place where nature was the only distraction. The wind grew stiff as the atmosphere was still a gloomy dark. The sky was overwhelmed with black clouds and vicious thunder. The group had now been walking for four long and dragging hours, staying close as they were on complete guard, their eyes constantly scanning the space around them. After a short while they came to rest under some large pine trees that stood high and proud at the edge of the Dark Forest. Carlem had been carrying Skyler since they had a confrontation with the Queens men and Skyler passed out from using up all her energy. So now they would have to wait for her strength to return.

Day fell into night as the gang had now managed to create a small, dimly lit fire which it's flames were low due to the harshness of the rain, although they were under some cover, they crowded round to allow the fire in order to prevent it dying down even further. Whilst Luna and Tide kept a close on the fire Carlem was keeping a close eye on Skyler, her skin had now become fully coloured, her hair it's natural state of blonde and her breathes slow as she rested. Smiling in her comfort Carlem turned his attention back to the others as they had successfully sheltered the fire. The atmosphere was loud with the roaring thunder, heavy rain and occasionally a strike of lightning. The lightning was swift and bright as it lit the sky like a huge camera had just taken a picture. Skyler moaned gently at the legend lightning and tightened up her eyes with every flash it made but eventually it woke her. Carlem was the first to identify her slow movements and opening eyes. "Oh Skyler your ok". He said in relief, managing to capture the attention of the others at his happy voice. It wasn't long before Skyler was completely surrounded by her friends, she smiled at this, about them wanting to know she was ok. She was met with a warm relieving hug as Luna gripped her clothing tight blurring her head deep into Skylers neck breathing onto it. "Oh Sky I'm so glad your ok!". She said playfully. Skyler smiled warmingly at her as she pulled away. "How ,how long was I out?". She asked, the three looked at each other in a long glance before laying their eyes back on Skylers. "Well, about two days". Tide replied answering her question, she gasped loudly, clearly in shock. "What!, well what happened to me?". She asked in a frantic tone." Are you telling me that you don't remember anything?". Tide replied, only to regains simple shake from her." All I can remember was getting really mad then suddenly, it got bright and I couldn't see anything clear anymore, then, then everything went white and I didn't know what I was doing or why". She answered in a weak, confusing manner. "You used your Ice fury". Carlem spoke. Skylers eyes lit with wonder and relief, but also weakness, a pain type of look. "My ,my Ice fury?" She pushed. Carlem nodded confidently at her before turning his head away towards the North." Come on, get some rest, when the sky clears we make a move to Moonlight Cabin, if we can make it there without been discovered we have a chance!". He said once again confident however others were not so. With that, it didn't take long for them to settle down and slowly nod off into a deep slumber.

The sky had now cleared well making the star's above shine bright and appear delicate. Luna was the one who sat at the end of the lake not far from the others, she looked happily up to the star's smiling sweetly in wonder. Slight splashes occurs as she rocked her feet in the waters edge repetingly. He attention was then put off as she heard footsteps approaching her turning her head in knowing a shocked expression crossed he face when she saw the figure. At fist glance she thought the figure was Tide but focused back on the lake as it was Skyler who had come to her. "Hey". Skyler whispered friendly, Luna looked at her also with a slight grin as they both faced the sky." Hey". She mumbled in an innocent tone, her eyes still focused on the sky." What are you doing out here?, it's dangerous for you to be outside the group at night". Skyler asked gently. "Well, I was just wondering about..stuff". She muttered the last word. "Really me too, I sometimes wonder why your so happy Luna, I mean you have nothing but yet your the happiest one in the world, why?". Skyler asked with good question. Luna sat straight her head and eyes both now facing Skyler." What more do I need, I've got a beating heart , air in my lungs, I can run, I can jump, and I can be who I am". She replied. Skyler was truly amazed at her reply, her eyes widened sweetly at Luna." What about you?". Luna asked ." I was just thinking about, well to be honest, I don't even know, everything is such a blur to me right now, but I was thinking tomorrow when we arrive at Moonlight Cavin we could train with our powers, would you like to?". She said in a quite voice, but her reply was a fast and simple nod from Luna. "Skyler, our stories are not yet legend, but in them our bond was struck, and that's something that the Queen can and will never destroy". Luna said in a confident tone "." Come on, let's go". Skyler said standing to her feet once more, Luna not far behind. The pair walked back to the rest of the sleeping gang and both were overcome with exhaustion.

Skyler awoke to the sound of birds tweeting and a grey sky, the thunder had now gone and it seemed that the sun was in a constant battle to brake through. Her vision on the other hand was still blurry, but after blinking her eyes multiple times it was clear enough to see. She turned her head down to her left but nobody was there.' Where are they?'. She thought to herself, her head glancing around at her surroundings. Suddenly she faced the Silver Lake where she could see the three practising with their powers. Each desperate in order to them to not clash. Making her way over to them she let a smile escape her face, the smile got even bigger when she passed Carlem. Ready at her stand she could see Luna chuckle to herself making a love heart out of her hands, thankfully nobody else saw it. "Are you ready?". Carlem asked although he gained no reply he stood beside Skyler and held her hands to position them, without notice Skyler was beginning to blush as he did this." Don't worry, just focus, and feel the Ice, ok now build it and release it". He whispered into her right ear. Skyler raised her hands in front of her before closing her eyes softly, blocking out all other distractions. Then a small blue glow appeared from her parlms, the Air around it turned even colder as the light got brighter, it's strength forever increasing. She took a deep breathe before dieting out her hands and releasing the Ice that had transformed into a long, shape shard, she opened her eyes to see the Ice smash harshly against a large boulder a few meteres from where they were standing." Wish, remind me not to get on your bad side". Carlem joked charmingly. "Ok let's try it again, this time try something creative...". He paused cor a moment before looking at the lake then facing Skyler with a wide grin on his face. As if she could read his mind Skyler stepped down to the waters edge kneeling down and closing her eyes, she waved her parlms around slowly and fragile before tapping the surface of the lake, causing a ripple to form, when suddenly the ripple went blue and froze. To the gangs amazement Skyler had frozen some of the lake water, they laughed and complemented her on her ability only seconds before they returned to their own skills.

Carlem approaches her resting his hand on her shoulder as she too was stunned by her skills." Wow, well done". Carlem complemented, Skyler smiled at him blushing slightly. The breeze gave a gentle blow as Skyler and the gang concentrated their powers. They all watched as Luna sat with Tide staring into the distance together, Luna waved her hand swiftly creating a small, fragile tornado of water whilst Tide rose his hands making an artwork of grass and rocks. "Well,we better be going, it's nearly night fall, if we're quick we should arrive at Moonlight Cavin by tonight". Skyler said the others didn't reply but instead they nodded their heads in agreement.

Night was setting in now the sky was fairly clear with little wind as the moonlight shone dimly onto the best of the land. Eventually the gang had arrived at a large cave underneath a giant mountain, the cave had a huge opening and surrounded completely by rocks." We're here". Carlem whispered in relief, Luna gasped loudly a excited expression on her face, her eyes gleaming with joy before anything else could happen she sprinted inside like a dog for food." Hey Luna wait up!". Skyler shouted charging in after her. Footsteps were heavy and seemed to echo on the cave grounds. As Skyler entered a rather large opening she found Luna stood, frozen like a statue looking up in shock and fascination." Wow". Skyler too gasped as she also was memorized by the area around her. The walls were lit like crystals as they sat, there Sun like blaze focused on the wide pond in front. The water was a clear blue flowing beautifully sitting below another gap at the top of the mountain where an large amount of moonlight had found its way in. It didn't take long for Carlem and Tide to arrive by Luna and Skylers side both with an extraordinary shocked and speechless expression." It's beautiful in here". Skyler whispered at the peaceful atmosphere.
