Combined Powers

The air was silent and relaxing as the kids slept each one close to one another there breathes slow and normal. The sky rumbled a loud crash that had awoken Skyler, she opened her eyes to see Carlem wondering off away from the rest of the sleeping gang and eventually out of the cave, without heasitation Skyler swiftly but carefully stood and began to follow. She had now been folowing him for a couple of minutes. Suddenly a bright flash of lightning escaped the sky before rain began flooding onto the ground, beating down harshly, Skyler raised her arms above her trying to cover herself, her only option was to chase directly behind Carlem lucky for her she was traveling a safe distance behind him, hiding around large trees and rocks. The land was deserted showing no life, Skyler peeked her head round a boulder only to see Carlem dissapear into a small man made hut within the field, curiousity had now overcome her and Skyler followed him inside.

The hut was small mad from old wood and other eart materials, her footsteps were gentle on the grass floor as she wondered even further into the hut she entered one room, it looked as if nobody had been living here for a long while, the walls were rotting but what she saw next would push her curiousity even more. There, slouching as he stood was Carlem quitely sobbing taking small gaspes in his sadness, Skyler crept up to him before appearing beside him placing her hand softly on his back. "Hey, whats wrong?". She asked worried, Carlem quickly fell to the floor sobbing even louder and harder than before. Skyler knelt down beside him removing small starnds of brown hair that hid his face."Carlem...?". She asked once more, Carlem turned to face her his eyes welling with tears as they fell delicately down his face. "This is where I used to live, with, with my family, we were so happy...but then, then she came she destroyed everything, killed my family my friends I was the oly one who survived. I barely escaped with my life befor the rest of the AIr Elementals took me in. I had hoped that one day I would finaly be able to meet you". He said before crashing onto Skyler's shoulder, she wrapped her arms softly around his back hugging him close into her chest, raising a hand she placed it on top of his head and trailed smoothly through his hair. "It's alright everything's going to be ok". She whispered sweetly at her words Carlem lifted his head, his tear filled eyes gazed deeply into Skylers, the atmosphere went silent for a while as the pair seemed to be lost together. "I know, it's better now that your here". He replied softly beginning to cry a little more Skyler raised her hand once more and gently began to wipe away the tears from his delicate eyes. The pair settled as they slowly and peacefully fell into sleep.

The Queen Sat comfortably in her throne as she watched Skyler and Carlem from within her globe like mirror. She grinned evily at the pair as she saw them both drift off into sleep. "Oh how cute, it seems there's more to this girl than simply been a good one, well this game just got more interesting...Vinecent!". The Queen called, seconds later the room doors open screening loudly as a Vinecent enters. "Yes my Queen?". He asked strongly. The Queen turns to face him her eyes almost black, dark evil orbs with a power hungry, malicious grin. "You see this girl..?". She says looking into her globe, Vinecent spins arrives at her side, also gazing into the ball. "Yes". He replies nervously to the Queen." This girl is the very girl who escaped me fifteen years ago, this girl has the abilities of which are most certainly more powerful than you could ever imagine... this girl has the power to control Ice". She adds. Vinecents jaw drops with wonder as he stares baffled into the globe's mirror." Impossible, how did she?". He stutters." I don't know how she survived, but now we are able to find her and finish this legend once..and for all, and now, we know her weakness". She laughed hysterically, along with a confused Vinecent of course.

Back at the hut Skyler awakens and finds herself laying on Carlems chest, his breathes are slow and steady along with her own, from the small gaps between the walls rays of dark sun had managed to find its way into the room making it brighter a few shades more. Looking up to see Carlems tired face, his eyes closed firmly she rested her head back onto his chest only to swiftly bounce back up as she had remembered Luna and Tide." Carlem, wake up!". She shouted shaking him harshly finally after a couple of shakes Carlem was fully awake although his eyes were still moist and droopy. Skyler stood and reached for his arm dragging him up quickly." Skyler, what's wrong , what is it?". Carlem asked confused not knowing what was going on." Luna,Tide we have yo get back!". She demanded in shock, pulling him out from the warm comfort of the hut.

As they arrived back at the hut they were greeted with a shocking sight, the cave had been surrounded by fire soilders everywhere!. Skyler and Carlems eyes scanned the area searching desperately for Luna and Tide, eventually they spotted them as they were backed up into a small corner with Tide standing in front of Luna protecting her. The atmosphere went from shock to horror as a fir soilder shot a large flame at the pair, however Tide noticed and was quick to halt the flame with a big pile of rocks. "No Luna Tide, we have to help them!". Skyler said dramatic facing Carlem." Hurry there's no time". He said running down the hill Skyler rushing beside him as the two had reached the end of the hill, Luna and Tide had spotted them." Skyler!". Luna exclaimed happily." Carlem!". Tide shouted adding to Lunas sentence. Skyler and Carlem rushed over to them and stood defending them, each with a look of determination in their face and courage in theirs eyes as they joined their powers together creating a large tornado of ice which launched shards at increadiable speeds. Tide and Lunas jaw dropped by as they saw the sight with that Luna spun round making a stunning force of water as Tide swiftly collided rocks with the earth before he and Luna both fired it at the Queens men. The force in total had weakened the men causing some serious injury." Yes!" Luna yelled high-giving Tide in victory, even Tide seemed happy for once. "You Damm kids!". A fire man raged ,his face red with anger and defeat. However what would happen next would result devastate the gang.
