"Hello there, beautiful," Ben said from behind me, causing me to jump. I quickly turned and swatted his chest as he laughed. "You scared me!" I said, trying to sound serious, but his laughs were contagious. "Sorry," he chuckled, before pulling me in for a kiss.

"Gross," Aaron said as he and Lee passed by. Ben broke the kiss, then asked them, "I thought you want us to get together?" We started walking with them as Lee told us, "Yeah, but we didn't think there would be this much kissing."

To annoy them further Ben plucked several kisses on my neck, making me giggle. "Alright, we get it!" Aaron shouted as he quickly went to his locker. Ben walked me to mine and leaned up to the one next to it as he watched me open it. "What?" I asked, a small smile playing on my lips.

"You're just so pretty," he said. If I had a dollar for every time this boy makes me blush, I would be the richest girl in the world. "Stop it," I giggled. He planted a kiss to my cheek and said, "Never. I should make my way to class. See you in fourth period, love."

He gave my hand a small squeeze, then started making his way to class. I still couldn't believe I had a boyfriend. I couldn't believe I had him as I boyfriend. I don't deserve him. I don't deserve all of the affection he's show towards me.

Ever since he defended me that one day in front of everyone and now that everyone knows we're together, the bullying has gone down to a minimum. I suppose you don't want to mess with a protective boyfriend's sick girlfriend.

Fourth period came around pretty quickly and, of course, Ben and I were practically all over each other. We tried to keep it to a minimum since P.D.A could get us in trouble, but we were in that honeymoon phase that I always thought was a myth. I never thought people could be that hooked to each other, but boy was I wrong.

During home room, we did our usual talking with Lee and Aaron about our movie night tonight. "I don't think we have anymore horror movies to watch," I told them. "We breezed right through them and it's only October!" Ben shrugged, then asked, "Why don't we just go buy some new ones? No harm in that."

So, that's what we went to do. There wasn't a whole lot we could buy since I owned almost every major horror movie. "I don't know, I don't see any good ones," I told them as I looked through the movie rack. "Maybe we should try something different?"

They all looked at me like I was crazy. "It's tradition, Cass," Lee reminded me. "Come on, we'll start from the beginning with Friday the 13th, only this time, we won't rush through it." Ben and Aaron agreed. "Well, alright," I sighed.

Truthfully, I just wanted to try something different tonight. Watching horror movies was great and I loved it, but the same ones? I stayed to try and find some other horror movie we haven't seen while the other three went to grab snacks.

A few minutes later, Ben appeared beside me with candy and popcorn in his hand. "You just want to try something different, don't you?" He softly asked. I nodded, but kept looking for movies. Finally, I found a few. I grabbed Lights Out, Annabelle and Ouija: Origin of Evil.

I smiled like a loon and looked to Ben, who was laughing at me. "Come on, let's go pay," he chuckled. We got everything we needed, then walked to my place. "Hi, kids!" My mom called as soon as we opened the door. "Hi, mom!" I called back. "We'll be in the guest house!"

We walked out to the guest house, then got everything in order. "Here you are, my darling," Ben said, putting the tape over the needle in my arm. He then sat next to me and put his arm around my shoulder. "What does that feel like?" He asked.

I shrugged and told him, "Not much like anything. Sometimes it hurts, like I feel this sharp pain throughout my body. Sometimes I feel really sick, but also feel like I can't do much about it, which is worse than puking up every meal for the past week. It all depends on how the cancer itself feels."
