Me and Carl walked over to the group,  who had sat down and started a fire. It is pretty late out, the sky is dark, the only light is the stars that are out as well as the moon. It was a full moon tonight. Carl and I sat down next to each other with Eclipse in my lap.

"Nearly killed you,". Daryl pointed at me. "That damn dog." Dad said, stopping the conversations from around us. "I'm fine. And that 'damn dog' has a name." I said and smiled as Carl fed Eclipse a piece of the deer. "Damn it Carl. You got her attached to it didn't you? I don't want a damn mutt attracting more walkers!" Daryl's voice raised up, he was trusted.

"Your voice alone is enough to attract a whole herd here right now. And if the girl wants a dog, let her have it." Rick said, and after that, my Daryl didn't say a word. "Her name is Eclipse." Carl said and he pets her, still feeding her. "That's cute!" Maggie said smiling. I giggled as Eclipse jump and tried to bite my nose. Carl wrapped his arm around my shoulder.

"Guys, we need to keep going. We have about eight more hours or so. So, get a good night's sleep. I'll keep watch. " Rick said, but it was soon followed by Carl's voice. "Me too." Carl stood, and reached into his gun holster, checking his ammo. "Carl no. You need to sleep too. Let your dad keep watch." I said and held onto his arm. "I'll keep watch over you. Dad can watch for walkers." Carl said. I sighed, there was no way I could convince him not to take watch. "Okay." I said and stood up walking into the RV, Eclipse soon on my heels.

I laid down on the floor with a sheer blanket. I'm not gonna lie, I was really cold without Carl's body heat, but I pushed it aside as Eclipse laid down by my head and fell asleep.  I closed my eyes, and pretty soon my breath leveled out, and I soon let sleep consume me.

~the next day.~
I woke up to a very happy puppy licking my face. "Morning Eclipse.." I mumbled as there was laughter around me. The ground underneath me felt weird. Were we moving? The answer to that question was answered as soon as I opened my eyes. Yes, we were moving.

I sat up, as we hit a small bump causing my butt to rise a bit off the floor. I rubbed my eyes, trying to get the sleep out of them. Carl was there smiling, as a flash that blinded me went off. Carl and Glenn laughed at something as I cleared my vision. Glenn sat next to Carl who was holding a Polaroid camera. "Smile princess!" Carl said and I did, smiling goofily. He snapped a picture and this time it didn't blind me because I was prepared for it. I wiped my eyes and picked up my blankets putting them away.

"Why didn't you guys wake me up? " I asked as I sat next to Carl. "Because you looked so cute!" Carl said smiling. "And Carl wouldn't let us wake you up. " Maggie said smiling.
"Well, he should of," I yawned. "Man, what time is it?" I said as I looked outside. It was pretty bright outside. Glenn pulled a watch out of his pocket. "Around noon." He put it away. "NOON?" I said, a bit loud. "Yes, Noon."

"I guess it was worth it." I said and stretched. Carl smiled before putting his arm around me. I curled up into his chest and inhaled the scent of the famous Carl Grimes. He smelled of sweat, but there was also a bit of sweetness, like honey? No not that, something else. Oh well, it didn't really matter right now, all I wanted to do was to enjoy his company. Well, that was until I heard words that scared me to death. Lord knew what was gonna happen... And I was scared.
