What the hell did I just walk into. Everyone is staring at me. The older male looks kinda like Isaiah and the female exactly like Sam.

"Ah Jada. There's my favorite sister in law." Sam says walking over and hugging me. Their parents gasp.

"Isaiah who is she?" The older woman asks staring at me with cold blue eyes.

"The best sister in law ever." Sam says smirking.

"Jada I didn't expect you to be here so soon."Isaiah says nervously while rubbing the back of his head.

"Mom. Dad. I'd like you to meet Jada. My girlfriend." His father stands up and extends his hand; I shake it nervously and says,"Nice to meet you Mr. Mitchell ."

"Likewise Jada. This is my wife Margret and one of Isaiah's Old friends Lauren." Old friend huh.

"Nice to meet you both." His mother just grunts and what's her name just waves politely.

"Well we better get going. Isaiah we will talk to you soon." Their mother says standing and walking towards the door with Mr. Mitchell and the girl following behind.

"Isaiah's what's going on?" I ask as I take a seat. Before he can answer Sam jumps in and says,"I'll tell you. My little brother here is too chicken shit to stand up to our mother. She don't approve of us dating outside of our race."

"What! Isaiah is this true?" By him not answering and looking down I know for a fact that what Sam is saying is true.

"Jada please let me explain." Isaiah says walking over to me.

"When were you going to tell me Isaiah!" I yell standing up. He doesn't respond instead he just fumbles around a little bit and looks down. "Just forget it I'm leaving. Have fun with your parents." I storm out of the apartment and get into the black jeep Tiffany gave to me and drive out of the parking lot. I gotta get the hell away from here.

"Dammit Sam!"

"Don't get mad at me little brother. I've already done my part. I stood up to mom and you should to. You can't keep letting her make decisions for you. At the end of the day she won't be here like Jada will."

"I didn't know she was capable of something like this." I say while shaking my head and sitting back on the couch.

"Sure you didn't. Why didn't you tell Jada how it was from the jump?"

"You know mom and dad haven't spoken to me in I don't know when. I thought that they were completely done with me."

"Well now you've got to fix this. You've got to start by getting rid of Lauren. You know that slut has tricks up her sleeve."

"How? Jada probably won't even listen to me now. She probably hates me."

"She doesn't hate you. She's just upset. Give her sometime to herself until you figure out what to do."

"You sure that'll help?"

"Positive. We're going to fix this one way or another." Sam says looking me straight in my eyes.
