"I know y'all are in there!!!" Their mother screams as she continues to bam on the door.
"Isaiah you grew some balls last night an this is your house right?. Go answer the door." Sam says nonchalantly.
"Shut up Sam!" Isaiah yells walking towards the door.
"Yes mother?" Isaiah says with a hint of a yawn in his voice.
"How dare you treat Lauren like that! Have you lost your damn mind?!?" Mrs Mitchell says walking into the house past Isaiah glaring at me.
"Morning mommy." Sam says smirking at her mom. I start to laugh on the inside.
"Mom we need to talk." Isaiah says calmly.

*Isaiah's p.o.v*
"No! I'm talking right how and your ass is going to listen."
"Look mom, you not about to come into my house an disrespect me. I'ma grown ass man an that's how I expect to be treated." I say staring my mother right in the eyes.
"Isaiah Lawrence Mitchell! Who the hell are you talking to?! I am your mother." She yells back shocked.
"Are you really? You have never been there for me like a real mother should. You don't even like my choice in woman. You ain't no mother to me. My sister an that husband of yours raised me and was there for me more than you ever was."
"He ain't lying!" Sam yells from the kitchen.
"This is how you're going to talk to me when I only want what's best for you?"
"You only want what's best for you mom not me. I like black women,so what! I'm grown! If I wanna go out an date every race in the world besides my own I will an you couldn't stop me even if you wanted to."
"Heard that!" Jada yells. I'll hear about this later is all I can think.
"If you think for once that I will accept that girl into my family you've got another thing coming."
"I don't give a damn man I really don't. You don't have to because everybody else has. Your opinion doesn't matter. I'm dating her not you, and if you don't like it there's the damn door." I stand up an point towards the door.
"So you're choosing some low life black girl over your own mother? Very well then. Just know this isn't over." She says back calmly before walking out slamming the door.
