Chapter 20

*Isaiah's p.o.v*

"What the fuck do you want?"

"Now is that any way to talk to your mother?"

"A mother wouldn't set her son's house on fire."

"Oh son that was just the beginning, unless you've finally come to your senses."

"Tuh, do what you gotta do but just know you won't get away with it."

"I already have." She says simply before hanging up.

"Isaiah what did she say?"

"Nothing, don't worry about it."

"Isaiah! We're supposed to be in this together. Now tell..."

"She said that was just the beginning. I can't believe my own mother is trying to literally destroy my life."

"Some people are just evil. But we both know she isn't gonna get away with it. I promise."

"Let's just go to sleep. I'm tired."

"Are you sure Isaiah?"

"Yea I'm cool." I just can't let Jada get into this. It's supposed to be just between my mother and I. I only want what's best for her.. What's best for us. I don't want to leave her or lose her but it looks like that might be my only option. I sigh and get in bed next to Jada.

*Jada's p.o.v*

Christmas Day..

"Everybody wake up it's Christmas!!!!" Jeremy and Dustin yell. I'm going to kill them. I roll over and see that Isaiah is gone. I stretch and yawn before throwing my legs to the side of my bed. I sit up and hear my shower being turned off. I stand and walk towards my opened bathroom door.

"You slept good huh? Merry Christmas baby." Isaiah says hugging me with his dripping wet body wrapped in a towel.

"Dang no kiss? Merry Christmas to you too punk!" I say squeezing past him.

"Not with that dragon breath you probably got." He says jokingly.

"I hate you." I say before turning the water back on.

"I know y'all not running up my damn water bill!" My mom screams from downstairs. What an excellent Christmas morning we're having here at my house. I can just feel all the love.

"Hurry up and shower so I can give you your gift!" Isaiah says excitedly. I don't know how he managed to get me something with all the drama that's been going on,but I'm glad that he did. After 30minutes I'm out of the shower and standing in the mirror with Isaiah right behind me.

"Close your eyes." He whispers sending shivers down my spin. I feel something being out around my neck. "Open them." I open my eyes and see a beautiful necklace with a sapphire crystal hanging from it.

"Oh my God! Isaiah this is beautiful!" I squeal while turning around to hug him.

"I really love you Jada." He says into my neck.

"I love you too." I pull him away from my neck and begin kissing him. He picks me up and puts me on the counter knocking over a few things.

"Everybody! Mom said get dressed!!!!" Jeremy yells. I really gotta sit my family and discuss this damn yelling.

"Guess we'll finish this later." Isaiah's says smirking.

"Hush and go get dressed."

"Luckily I always have a suitcase of clothes in my car huh?." Isaiah says before disappearing. I'm so nervous about Isaiah meeting the rest of my family. I mean everyone knows about him thanks to my mom, but my family can be kinda judgmental. I hope all goes well or hell is going to break lose.
