School was going great and me and Lucas have been getting close ever since our "beach date".

"We need to hang out again!" He texted.
"Ikr!"
"What are you doing this weekend?"
"Nothing. Maybe you can come over this weekend."
"That sounds like a lot of fun!" He wrote.

I went inside of Mia's room.
"Ciao (that means hello in Italian)" She said.
"Hey! Do you wanna go swim with me?"
"Sure!"
I went inside my room and changed into my bathing suit and went outside in their backyard. I noticed Mikey outside playing basketball by himself.
"Wow, you suck!" I said after he missed the basket.
"As if you're much better." He scoffed.
"I'm 90% sure that I am."
"Fine." He threw the basketball at me and I caught it.
"Shoot it." He said.
I shot and the basketball made the basket.
"You just got lucky." He said.
"Mmmhhhmm." I said and then laughed.
"What are you 2 love birds giggling about?" Mia said as she started walking towards us.
"Ew Mia. Besides, I'm already with Lucas."
"Hold up. You're with Lucas?" Mikey asked.
"Well sort of. He's coming over this weekend though."
"He can't come over. Bailey was gonna come over and hang out with me."Mikey said.
"Bailey?! I thought you didn't like her."
"I never said that."
"You did!" I said.
"How about they both come over at the same time?" Mia said trying to resolve things.
"Fine." We both huffed.

After Mia and I finished swimming, we went inside of my room and hung out.
"So how are you and Lucas?" She asked.
"We're doing great. I think he's a really good guy."
"That's good. I was expected him to be a fboy just like the rest of his popular friends."
"Yeah. Can I ask you a question?" I asked Mia without eye contact.
"Do you think Mikey likes Bailey?"
"I'm not really sure. Why?"
"Just wondering." I said.
"Do you like Mikey?"
"What?! No! He's so ugly and mean." I says and then laughed.
"Mmmmhhhmm." Mia said and then walked off.
