That's how my dad finds us at least two hours later, as we quietly talk back and forth, while we lean against each other by the wall.  I glance up when I hear his footsteps stop at the open doorway, and see him watching us with a sad smile on his face.  "Hey sweetheart."  I wipe my hand over my eyes, and pull myself away from Tyler, so I'm standing.  I walk over to where my father stands and dissolve into his warm hug.  His arms wrap tightly around my body, while he rests his chin on the top of my head, watching Tyler.  "How you feeling kiddo?"  He asks quietly pulling back from me.  I step back and lean my head against Tyler.

"Like crap.  I hate this daddy."  I entangle Tyler and I's fingers between us and look up at his face.  "He makes it at least a little bit better."  I add softly, and feel Tyler's hand squeeze my own.

"Your mom wants to know if you were going to come to dinner tonight?"  Dad asks looking between Tyler and I.  "You don't have too but she wanted to ask."

I shake my head slightly and bite my lip.  "I don't think I can.  Tell mom I'm sorry."

He walks over and kisses my forehead, "Don't worry about it Lydia.  Take time and relax."

I reach up, wiping the tears under my eyes and let out a shaky breath.  Tyler wraps his arms around my waist and presses his lips to the side of my head.  "Come on Dee, lets go watch a couple movies and relax."  I lean back into his warmth and watch as my dad turns down the hallway, disappearing around the corner.

I turn in Tylers arms and bury my face against his warm chest, standing there in the quiet I listen to the soft sound of his heartbeat.  After a few minutes, I pull back and look up to Tylers face, finding him looking down to me.  He bends his neck down and brushes his lips across mine, in a brief gentle kiss.  "I love you darlin'.  More than anything."

I smile softly up at him, "I love you more Ty.  Don't leave again."

"I'm not goin' anywhere."  He whispers tightening his hold on me.

I reach my arms around his neck, "Promise?"  I ask in a hushed whisper.

He kisses me again, his warm breath mixing with my own.  He pulls back ever so slightly, "I promise Dee.  I'm not going anywhere."  His lips brush against mine, like a feather, with each word.

We remain in each others arms for a few more minutes until I pull away.  "I can't stay in here anymore."  I mutter and shuffle out of the room looking straight ahead, to avoid all the memories of the room.  It's to hard to see everything that was made perfect for two babies who never got a chance to live in it.

Once in the hall, I pause leaning against the wall, quickly wiping my eyes.  I hear Tylers uneven footfall coming behind me, and push up from the wall walking towards the door of our own room.  Standing at the foot of the bed I look around the room, before my gaze comes to rest on Tyler.  "I was so scared you wouldn't come home.  I always hated knowing this house supposed to be for us and that you may never get to live in it.  Then the babies..."  I step back and lower myself, until I'm sitting on the bed.  "I hated sleeping here with out you.  I can't..."   I swallow hard, refusing to cry again.  "I just can't Ty.  Not anymore."  I watch as he makes his way over to me, feeling the bed sink down, under him.

"You don't have to darlin'.  You never should have, but now I can say you never will be alone again."  He leans over to me and leans his forehead against mine.  "I love you Lydia, and I can't think of anywhere else I'd rather be."  His arms wrap around me, as he leans back on the bed pulling me down next to him.

"I love you Tyler.  So much it scares me."  I stretch up and kiss the underside of his jaw.

"I love you so damn much."  He whispers as he shifts his body so he hovers above me.  "You're everything Dee."  Looking up into his soft eyes, I feel a smile, the first real on of the day, on my face.

"Yeah?"  I ask running my fingers along his arm, tracing the dark lines that cover it.

"Mmhm."  He hums leaning his head down to kiss me. His lips brush mine, for a brief moment before he lifts up again.  "Hey Dee?"

"Yes?"  I ask feeling my voice crack as I watch his shirt clad muscled chest rise and fall with each breath.

"Marry me.  For real this time."   He stares down at me, waiting my answer.  In response I wrap my arms around his neck and pull his mouth down to mine.  The kiss increases in speed, until we both pull away to breath.  He chuckles wrapping his arms around me and rolling onto his back, holding me to his chest.  "I'll take that as a yes."

I smile nodding, and watch him.  "Tyler."

"Yes darlin'?"  He asks his voice filling my ears.

I pause before continuing, "Promise me something."

"I already promised, I wasn't going anywhere Lydia."  He whispers as he runs his fingers through the length of my hair.

"I know.  Just promise you'll be okay."  I ask resting my head in the crook of his neck.  "I can't lose you."

"I'll be fine honey,  I have you.  That's all the help I need."
