Arthit POV

Briing Briing
Ugh
The unstopping marimba ringtone makes me want to throw myself in front of a train.
Reaching across my bed, I find the damn phone, turning the screeching off.
I look at the time through my sleepy-heavy lid eyes and it's only 10:35Am.
"UUGH" I groan, pulling the pillow over my head and hating myself as I probably forgot to turn off the damn alarm yesterday.
Accidentally waking up early on Sunday should be a crime. Especially today.
Just as I was about to go back to bed, someone bangs loudly on my door.
Pulling the pillow tighter over my head, I try to ignore them. Maybe they'll go away.
But the banging keeps on coming for one straight minute.
Getting up with murderous intent, I walk out of my bedroom, past the small living room and yank the door open.
"WHHHATT??" I say.
But Toota, Bright, Knott, and Prem just ignore me and walk straight into my suite, pushing me aside.
"Geez, we missed you too" Bright says sarcastically before jumping on the black sofa in the living room.
"Do you have anything to eat?" Toota asks going straight to my fridge,
"I didn't get the chance to eat since yesterday afternoon after the game. Feed me Arthit." Prem says behind Toota, opening my kitchen cabinets that Chalarm, my personal attendant, had previously filled with my favorite snacks and necessities.
"When did you get back?" Knott asks, pushing aside a few boxes containing books that I still haven't had the chance to get to, to reach the other side of the sofa. "We only found out you came back because we ran into Namtam at the dining hall".
Sighing, I dropped into the unoccupied armchair near my room, "I came back around midnight yesterday after the charity event in Senegal"
Glaring at them, I add "I haven't had more than two hours of sleep during the last seventy-two hours, you assholes"
"Why are you looking at us like that" Bright says unrepentant, munching on some croissants that Toota passed him, "We didn't make you crown prince. You can blame that on your heir-less Uncle"
"At least your duties are finished for the next five months" Prem adds referring to the royal duties that I am obligated to complete during the summer and Christmas school breaks.
"Besides, if we didn't come now, you'll probably have missed the mentor workshop at two today" Knott says
Sinking deeper into the armchair, "that's today?" I ask incredulously.
"Sometimes, I still can't believe he's our crown Prince" Toota adds perceptively, "I mean look at him" and they all turn towards me, "he's the definition of laziness and no ambition."
"If you think you can do a better job, I don't mind switching places with any of you, at any day" I say unoffended.
But they all answer "No!" with horrorful faces.
Laughing while getting up, I say "Wake me up at one. I can't function anymore"
"Will do" Toota answers.
